We've stayed in many rental houses on Nantucket and this was our favorite by far. Great location, beautiful living/dining room space, comfortable bedrooms, nice outdoor space, and very well equipped. The owners (Tom and Sara) were very responsive. We hope to return next year!

Close to everything in town but on a secluded beautiful lot. We took advantage of the large yard playing whiffle ball and kicking the soccer ball. Plenty of room for our party of 9 (2 couples, one older woman, a 14 year old boy and a 10 year old girl) using the main house as well as the apartment above the carriage house. Kitchen was well appointed. Loved all the games and puzzles too!

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Barn. The house is really nicely outfitted with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels and beach towels and a huge supply of beach chairs and beach toys. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was in each bathroom and the house was well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent. You can just pack your clothes and don’t need to bring anything else. The space over the garage adds an extra private space with a sofa bed and day bed and another bathroom and smaller kitchen. Tom, the owner, was very responsive when we texted with questions or issues. The only drawback to mention (and I mention it because it’s not in the listing) is there is no AC in the main living areas on the first floor. Each bedroom has their own unit so the bedrooms were cool. But when we first arrived, the kitchen and living area were hot. After a few cool mornings with the windows open, everything was very comfortable. But just something to keep in mind if you are booking for late in the summer when it is hotter. Overall, a great property, very good location and a lovely week!

Amazing property and location

We can't say enough good things about our stay at the Barn. The house is beautiful and perfect space for a big family or two families/visitors to stay. We had small children with us and it was very conducive to that while also being a great space for adults to unwind. Location also was perfect to town, beaches and nice bike paths and walks and having a yard was such a luxury in this location. Hosts were very communicative and helpful - will look forward to coming back!

Our stay at the barn was spectacular! The rooms are beautifully decorated with soft sheets, towels are plush and the kitchen is outfitted with anything you could need. The layout is perfect for a family gathering ! The dining table seats a perfect 12 and there are spots for lounging inside and out! The large yard is privately nestled in beautiful teak furniture on a expansive deck . The owners couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. There were plenty of beach towels and it’s proximity to town makes it a perfect 10!

This property is a gem being that it has a large yard and is steps away from town and very close to children's beach, jetties beach and brant point. We enjoyed the yard and all of the amazing games and supplies in the garage. We were able to have a separate small family stay in the garage apartment which was perfect and we had two families in the main house. Everything was very clean and Tom/Sara were great hosts, very responsive and allowed us to check in early and leave late. We would love to stay again.
