From Mid June through Labor Day, Summer Rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Nestled In the Cape Cod National Seashore. Enjoy this secluded cottage style apartment; only 0.2 (two tenths) of a mile from Coast Guard Beach. Another mile north along Ocean View Drive you will find Nauset Light, and the Three Sisters Lighthouses. A European Copper Beach Tree welcomes you to our home and offers shade on a hot day. A rose covered rock wall gives a feeling of Cape Cod so many years ago. Guests can walk to the beach, go for hikes, bike rides, or kayak adventures nearby. The interior of the apartment has a living room with a Vermont Cast-Iron gas stove for off season warmth. Three large windows gives an open roomy effect. There is SMART TV with Antenna service. The newly renovated kitchen (2023) is completely functional and has a gas stove, microwave, and new (2023) refridgerator. The bath on the first floor includes a stackable washer/dryer. Two small bedrooms are up the narrow staircase; each has a double size bed. There are small window A/C in the bedrooms. NO air conditioning downstairs, but fans are provided. In the summer season we usually will only accept full week rentals, Saturday to Saturday. Thank you for understanding.brbrThere is a small patio with a gas grill, and a small, rather private deck which includes an outside shower. brbrVery nearby is a bike trail that leads to The Salt Pond Visitors Center just a mile up the road. There are two separate living areas, a flat screen smart TV for streaming, a dining area with seating for six, and a fully equipped kitchen with a gas range, dishwasher, and island. Step through the sliding door and onto a spacious deck overlooking the backyard area. The large canopy above provides shade for the entire deck, and combined with the constant breeze from the ocean, creates a perfectly comfortable outdoor space during those hot summer months. There is a large enclosed outdoor shower with a changing room that is accessible from the deck.brbrThe house, with more than 1,700 square feet of living space, sleeps six guests comfortably within three bedrooms. On one side of the house is a large master bedroom, which includes a king bed and private full bathroom. Please note, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, we only accept rentals that start and end on Saturdays; we also require that your minimum stay is one week. After Labor Day, we are more flexible with start and end dates as long as their is a 5 night minimum stay.br brThis beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is the perfect mix of classic Cape Cod architecture and charm with modern comforts and amenities. This property is in an ideal location for all of the great activities the Cape has to offer. Walk to the end of our road for easy access to the Bike Path. First Encounter Beach is just 1.5 miles from our driveway and Great Pond is about 2 miles away, a quick bike or car ride. Great Pond (Wiley) is a beautiful freshwater pond with a designated swimming area, perfect for families. brbrOur location in the town of Eastham is very central to the many activities the Outer Cape has to offer: Provincetown is a 30 minute drive and the town of Wellfleet is just 10 minutes away. Watch a movie at the Wellfleet Drive In or shop around at the Wellfleet Flea Market; go on a whale watch out of Ptown or just go for the day to walk around; take a beautiful scenic drive to Chatham for quaint shops; or enjoy fine dining in many of the downtown Orleans restaurants only 5 minutes away. Eastham itself has its own charm, with three National Seashore Beaches within a 5-10 minute drive. The National Seashore Beaches are also accessible via the bike path from the house.brbrOur home is situated on a corner lot with the driveway on a private, dead end road. The backyard is quite expansive with area to set up for horseshoes. There is also an outdoor shower (not enclosed, but perfect for rinsing off after the beach) and sizable deck with seating for 10 to enjoy the fresh ocean air and listen to the birds singing. The house has just under 1400 sq ft of living space. The downstairs features a modest sized kitchen which is open to the family room. Kitchen table is set up for 6 but can accommodate 8. The main level includes a full bath and two bedrooms (king size and queen size). Upstairs has another full bath and two more bedrooms. Some of the appliances are original to the home but are in great condition, giving the kitchen a retro feel, however we have added a new dishwasher in the kitchen and a new washer and dryer in the basement. Parking will accommodate 3-4 vehicles.brbrPlease note, we do not provide sheets or towels, as we cannot accommodate laundry between guests. There are places nearby that rent linens or you can purchase them for a minimal cost at the local TJ Max.
