The house is a spacious one bedroom with two full baths. The living room is surrounded by windows capturing the beautiful Hanalei Mountains - including our namesake, Hihimanu. Hihimanu roughly translates to mean Elegant Bird, referencing the Hawaiian manta ray, seen in the twin peaks at the top of the ridge. brbrThe living areas of this house and cottage just received a thoughtful and elegant refresh and remodel. All new flooring, new appliances, new furniture, fresh inventory. The two sofas are set up theater style, for enjoying the ever changing mountain view and your favorite TV shows. Both sofas are pull out beds. Just off the living room is a lovely covered lanai, perfect for capturing the sights, sounds and smells of Kauai. The dining table is set up for six, but has room for eight if you pull the chairs off the lanai. The kitchen is built with the most discerning gourmet chef in mind. A spacious pantry is just off the kitchen, the laundry room is just around the corner.
