You will enjoy the wood burning fireplace (s'mores after dinner are never a bad idea!), the brand-new gas grill, comfy armchairs and the generously sized dining table. After dinner, take a dip in the hot tub (drained, cleaned and sanitized before each arrival) and feel your stress melt away. From this level, you have easy access to your outdoor firepit and Adirondack chairs. This is a great spot for bird watching, and you may see deer as well. brbrBack inside, each bedroom has a private, attached bath with walk-in shower. The primary suite has a king-sized bed, and the guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed; there is also a washer and dryer in this bedroom. Both bedrooms have new mattresses and linens and are located on opposite ends of the cabin for maximum privacy and comfort. brbrYour living area is open to the kitchen and the back deck. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked, including a Keurig for your morning pot of coffee or K-cup. The living area features a large fireplace and a smart TV. There is also a DVD player and a small DVD library. This is the perfect spot to gather to play board games or watch a movie. brbrIn addition to the close proximity to downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay, you are just 25 minutes away from the quaint historic towns of Copperhill and McCaysville, with restaurants, shopping, river tubing and kayaking. brbrWe do not accept pets at this time. High end Pottery Barn dishware is provided, along with Calphalon pots, pans and a lobster pot for your low country boil in the mountains.brbrThe living room has a matching couch and chair, coffee table and end tables. High speed fiber internet is provided for unlimited streaming and downloads! Kick back and watch the 60 big screen tv with your favorite streaming service in 4k. The driveway is steep and can be difficult to access if coming from the east (Bushy Head Rd). You may need to pass the driveway, turn around and arrive from the west.brbr- Insects are plentiful in variety and quantity on a wooded property in the mountains. We pay for a variety of pest control services for the cabin which are very effective. An exception to this is ladybugs. Unlike most insects, ladybugs do not respond well to insecticides. Please do your part to keep them out by keeping doors shut when not in use. There are screens on all windows except the two in the loft facing the creek. Please keep those windows shut.brbr- You will also notice spiderwebs around the outside of the cabin, particularly on the back deck and in window sills. It is impossible to keep these cleaned in a wooded area. For each one we clean, two more pop up within 24 hours. There is a cobweb cleaner on a pole on the back deck. Feel free to use this to get rid of any unwanted webs during your stay!brbr- Make sure you have WiFi calling turned on to make phone calls. There is no cellular signal in the valley. A landline is also provided in the master, if needed.brbr- The hot tub is only a 2-seater and is tucked behind the cabin on a wraparound deck with privacy wall.
