There is a beachside entry into the Florida Bay for kayaks and paddleboards. Sometimes you can even see brightly lit cruise ships at night headed to Key West and beyond. Each bedroom and family room opens to this large balcony where you can watch the sun rise each morning with your morning coffee and have cooling afternoon shade. Within short driving distances are the famous Pennecamp State Park, Everglades National Park, Bird Sanctuary, and the Dolphin Research Center where you can swim with the dolphins. Key West makes for a nice day trip for lunch and exploring Duval Street, Margaritaville, art stores, museums, and is located about 90 minutes south on the most scenic highway route including the famous 7 mile bridge.
