The property slopes down to Big Redfish Lake providing breathtaking lake and gulf views. Big Redfish Lake is a rare natural phenomenon known as a coastal dune lake. Only a few places in the world are fortunate enough to have favorable conditions for these lakes to form and they provide a unique environment for a diverse collection of wildlife normally in separate fresh water or salt water ecosystems. Of the fourteen acre property, the building sits on approximately six acres. The first set is a Twin XL (same length as a queen). The second set is a regular Twin set of bunks. Both sets top bunk hold up to 1000 lbs. Our neighborhood is walking distance to the very secluded beach access named for our neighborhood- Beach Highlands Access. This access is one of 2 neighborhood accesses, and has extremely limited parking and a shower, which keeps the number of visitors more limited. Beach Highlands Access is also a short walking distance to the undeveloped, natural splendor of Topsail Park, to the west, which provides plenty space to spread out! Even closer is the new Dune Allen Access, complete with restrooms, parking and showers. Dune Allen Access is directly across from Stinky's should you need take out or those big frozen drinks for the beach! Stinky's Bait Shack also has any bait or fishing gear you might need! The Dune Allen access is just a hop, skip and a jump from home, so it is perfect for back-and-forth trips between the house and beach. But not a heartbeat further east you will quickly find the large Fort Panic Beach access, which is also a walkable distance. Ft. Panic has more extended parking and a broader beach frontage for more space, and also includes showers and restrooms. Still want more Look no further than the rest of the west side of 30A, because Gulf Place, Gulfview Heights, Blue Mountain Beach and Grayton Beach are all within short distance!
