Located directly across the street from the beach (there is a dedicated crosswalk as well as a footpath with some parking, as well as a vehicle beach ramp to drive on the beach, yes, drive in the beach, close by). brbrOur unit is two levels with 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths and sleeps 5 comfortably. We have ceiling fans throughout, Wi-Fi, great entry sunroom w/Tommy Bahama Bar, Smart TV's in master bedroom and living room with cable and HBO. Just to name a few of the amenities. brbrYour home away from home has a full sized tower washer and dryer, full sets of linens, dishes, pots and pans, toaster oven, microwave, Keurig, regular coffee pot, beach towels, books and games, as well as a gas grill and so much more. It offers a quiet setting in a great community among a canopy of trees (Old Florida style) with pool (also grills by the pool), shuffleboard and tennis/pickle ball courts, and a weight room. brbrThe perfect getaway spot with so much to offer. In walking distance, there is a Nautilus by the Sea fitness center located next to a Food Market, Ice Cream Shop, Pizza Restaurant, a quaint local bar with liquor store and a highly rated restaurant “The Bakers Table” there as well. All a short walk from our front door. brbrA deck box outside with a variety of beach toys, chairs, etc.brbrNew Smyrna has many wonderful restaurants, bars and shops on popular Flagler Avenue (beachside) and is a short drive away. Canal Street (on mainland) also has great dining options, museums, a local brewery and many shopping options. New Smyrna is the Cape Cod of of the South. We are closest beach to Disney World and are their designated beach. All my guests love the location away from the more crowded areas of the island. But there are great restaurants and a grocery store and gift stores close by. Nautilus Fitness is also just two blocks away.brbrFlagler Avenue stretches from the beach to the Indian river and Intercoastal Waterway, which connects drivers to other Atlantic coast beach destinations. There are dozens of boutiques, retail shops and galleries lining Flagler, selling everything from surf-style clothes to beach-themed home décor, artwork beach knickknacks. There are also dozens of cafes and restaurants. brbrOn the main land you have Canal Street Historic district. It frequently hosts events and gallery walks, farmers markets and art markets. brbrFor your extra entertainment we have three Smart TVs, A large one in the living room and one in each bedroom. We have recently added Roku in all three TVs so you will have access to hundreds of streaming channels including Spectrum cable network. The island has two bridges to the mainland so you can do the loop to discover all we have to offer. Great walking areas with restaurants and shops.brbrThe Point East resort is located in the preferred non-driving beach zone so cars are not allowed on the beach. This is a non-smoking resort strictly enforced. No smoking anywhere on the property or in the condos. Also renters are not allowed to bring any pets. brbrPoint East condominium resort is private with an Olympic six pool, heated in the winter, plus a small pool for little kids to enjoy. Gates to the court yard require a code to get in so owners and visiting tourists have privacy.brbrWe have a lifeguard at the ocean front park next door for safety. I also have life jackets for children in a variety of sizes if they are not use to ocean swimming. I also have boogie boards for older children. My front closet has beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys, beach towels, sports for the basketball court in the ocean front park next door. You don't need to bring anything but your bathing suite.brbrThe ocean front park next door has a great playground. The City ocean front park next door also has a basketball court, restrooms, outdoor showers and covered picnic tables for private family parties. It's perfect for large families to have their own private place for birthday parties, small weddings and other special events.brbrOur summers are warm and tropical and our winters are mild temperature and sunny. We are called the Sunshine State. Our beaches are beautifully blue and inviting. all year long.brbrbrThis condo has an east facing balcony for warm southern exposure. It overlooks the Olympic Size swimming pool, shuffleboard, and covered pavilion at Point East Ocean Front Condominium Resort. You can see the big blue ocean the minute you walk in the front door. Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony and watch the sun come up over the ocean. My master suite has a king size pillow top bed and in-suite bathroom. My guest bedroom has two FULL SIZE beds instead of small twin beds so adults are comfortable. I also have a blow up bed if needed. The second bathroom is next to the guest bedroom. I have a comfortable couch and TWO comfortable recliners in the living room.brbrThe condo is well stocked for families. I also have a Pack N Play, Highchair, and safety gate for my little guests. My remodeled kitchen is well stocked for family meal planning. It has a pass-thru bar into the dining area that seats six guests. Day trips are an easy drive, with Orlando just one hour away. You can visit Disney World,Sea World, EPCOT, Universal Studios, MGM Studios, Kennedy Space Center, Daytona International Speedway, St. Augustine(the oldest city in the USA), and much more! They are all easy day trips from New Smyrna Beach.
