You won't ever want to leave this house! But when you do, you can walk two minutes down the road to the beach or walk ten minutes to Flagler Avenue to explore restaurants, shops, and people-watch to your heart's delight! Or if walking isn't your thing (like me) then you can take the golf cart and get to your destination faster than you can say oh my goodness all of this in one place ! We better book this place before someone else does!brbrEven though our location is completely walkable, it is located on a quiet street where your only unexpected visitor might be Crawford, the local tortoise who lives in this area and uses our street as his personal red carpet. Our neighbors are lovely and the private pool is secluded and ready for you to turn on the jets or the fountain and escape to your own water-based oasis!brbrThe property is managed by a swell mother-daughter duo (picture us standing back to back with our arms crossed looking at you with knowing smirks), so I promise you the best service should any questions or concerns come up during your stay! We're both people pleasers with a tendency toward perfectionism, which can be a problem in other parts of our lives, but for this it is ideal! You will be close to everything you need but feel like you're in the country when you stay at our fully renovated farmhouse. The beach is only 13 minutes and you can drop your boat in the intracoastal in about 10. brbrIt is very quiet and you will truly feel as if you're in the country. The neighbors have cows and at night you can here coyotes howling. Don't worry, they never come close enough to be seen. The pond is brackish water, fed by the intracoastal , and has fish in it. Mostly baby tarpon but some bass and bream as well. brbrYou'll see birds in the pond and the large oak tree has raccoons and at least one possum that likes to come out at night. We haven't seen any snakes or alligators, so don't worry about that.brbrGrocery stores, fast food and other businesses are 1 mile away. The Flagler Avenue shopping, dining and nightlife district is only 10 minutes away.brbrDaytona Beach and the speedway are 20 minutes north and Orlando is less than an hour southwest.brbrWe are also a wedding venue that can host 200 guests.brbrThe house was fully renovated (2022) and sits on 2.5 fenced in acres with a fish pond. Outside there is a with a gas grill, and there is more parking than you would ever need. There's even room to park a boat or trailer.brbrThe house has 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths. Three of the bedrooms are master suites with their own bathrooms. The fourth bedroom is set up as an office with a day bed and the fourth bathroom is just outside this bedroom. The main master bedroom has an extra large shower and a deep tub for soaking.brbrThe kitchen has stainless steel appliances and everything you need if you choose to cook at home and can seat 4 at the island. The dining room has a farmhouse dining table that seats 8. Coffee maker, toaster, Insta-pot, slow cooker, blenders and all of the kitchen gadgets you need are there.brbrThe family room is open to the kitchen with a large L-shaped couch, huge TV and wood burning fireplace. The laundry room has new, extra large washer and dryer.brbrThe 2 car garage will probably have one of our cars and the side-by-side in it, but if it happens to be empty when you're here you can use it.brbrThere is plenty of room to park a boat or trailer on site.brbrYou will have access to the entire house and property.brbrOther things to notebrThe pond is not fenced so children should be watched at all times.brbrThis is not a walkable neighborhood so you will drive wherever you go. Uber is very readily available and parking is usually not an issue anywhere in New Smyrna Beach except at peak times during the vrey busy season.brbrThis is our home, not an investment property. We decided to rent it out occaionally because we travel a lot and it's empty most of the tims. Please treat it the way that you would want your home to be treated.
