Small access that can be easily missed. Parking not available but easy bike ride to the beach.brbrbrbr-Santa Clara is a public beach access located at Bramble Grove Place (about 3.5 miles). This access provides a lifeguard, parking and bathrooms as well as ADA access to the beach.brbrbrbrTHE BIG CHILL (FORMERLY THE HUB)brbrThe community’s town center, called “The Big Chill,” includes restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater. The amphitheater includes a covered event pavilion and is a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn. This location is perfect for family outings! This access has no steps-just walk straight onto the beach. One of our personal favorites!brbrbrbr-Gulf Lakes Estates is a South Walton County beach access (1 mile east of Prominence). Small access that can be easily missed. Parking not available but easy bike ride to the beach.brbrbrbr-Santa Clara is a public beach access located at Bramble Grove Place (about 3.5 miles). This access provides a lifeguard, parking and bathrooms as well as ADA access to the beach.brbrbrbrTHE BIG CHILL (FORMERLY THE HUB)brbrThe community’s town center, called “The Big Chill,” includes restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater. The State Park charges a “Day Use Fee” of $3/car or $2/bikes or pedestrians for access and parking. Alcohol is not allowed as it is a State Park. It is a bit of a longer walk from parking area to the beach, but it’s a beautiful scenic walk on the long boardwalk with white sand dunes. The State Park Beach is less crowded than any public beach access points.brbrbrbr- Walton Dunes Beach Access (1.5 miles West of Prominence) has a small parking lot, but no bathrooms, and is located just west of the Deer Lake State Park boundary. This access has no steps-just walk straight onto the beach. One of our personal favorites!brbrbrbr-Gulf Lakes Estates is a South Walton County beach access (1 mile east of Prominence). Small access that can be easily missed. Parking not available but easy bike ride to the beach.brbrbrbr-Santa Clara is a public beach access located at Bramble Grove Place (about 3.5 miles). This access provides a lifeguard, parking and bathrooms as well as ADA access to the beach.brbrbrbrTHE BIG CHILL (FORMERLY THE HUB)brbrThe community’s town center, called “The Big Chill,” includes restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater. The amphitheater includes a covered event pavilion and is a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn. This location is perfect for family outings! Be sure to catch the farmer's market here on Thursdays!brbrbrbrHOTSPOTS NEARBYbrbrThe location of Prominence is perfectly placed right in the middle of 30a. Located just 970 feet out from the Inlet Beach access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Grouper Reef is at a depth of 12-21 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs.
