The apartment boasts a fantastic private sea terrace which very few properties have and overlooks the immaculate gardens of Gwel Marten, providing glorious uninterrupted sea and beach views. There is also free Wifi internet access.brbrThere is a large private covered parking space which is just a few seconds walk away and just a little further is the delightful Carbis Bay train station. It is just a short train ride into the centre of St Ives along the single track and the journey takes just a few minutes and follows a wonderfully scenic path along the coast. The train very popular with visitors and a great way of beating all the busy holiday traffic in St Ives.brbrBeach View is also located right on the doorstep of the South West Coastal Path so it is an ideal base to start your walk and is also just a few minutes walk down the hill to the golden soft sands of Carbis Bay with its calm turquoise water. brbrInternally the apartment is very spacious (1200 sq ft) and in the main is fully open plan with a white gloss modern kitchen with breakfast bar, formal dining area with a large table and six chairs and a luxurious lounge area with two very large three seater sofas where guests can relax and enjoy breathtaking sea views. Known for its narrow granite passageways, small independent shops and easy access to everything St Ives is loved for, the Digey is a sought-after area in the town. Cafes and galleries sit between whitewashed cottages, and the beach is close enough to wander down to every day for an early morning swim or a sunset paddle-boarding session.brbrInside, the cottage is arranged over four levels. The kitchen and dining space quirkily sit half a floor below the entrance, with a table for four and a fabulous kitchen. There's a back door here which opens towards the harbour side of town, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off sandy toes and beach gear. On the first floor there are two separate living spaces. The snug just off the landing is furnished with a daybed and can be used as a second TV room (especially good for families) or an occasional single bedroom, while the main living room provides a cosy place for relaxation or spending time together. A pretty double bedroom and family shower room are located on the second floor, while above, a light-filled twin bedroom occupies the top floor and enjoys views over the rooftops and out towards the sea.brbrAround the corner you'll find St Ives Bakery for fresh pasties and croissants, with Porthminster Kitchen and the Sloop Inn just a minute or two's walk from the front door. There is also a small step between the second-floor bedroom and bathroom. Because of the number and steepness of the stairs, the property may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
