Sleeping 6-8 in 3 bedrooms, plus options to use a cot and double futon bed, Fern Cottage boasts 2 bathrooms, 2 sitting rooms and a lovely kitchen with a Rayburn at its heart. In addition we offer free speedy WiFi (20Mb) & Freeview on two flat screen TVs plus an enchanting small enclosed garden with BBQ! We want to make it easy for famillies to go on holiday, so for those with younger guests we offer sturdy stairgates, travel cot and highchair/booster seat. We also have body boards, buckets and spades, sun shelters and parasols all available for you to use. Our family-friendly home from home is now available for you to rent! Pets: Please do not book until this has been discussed. A maximum of two beautifully behaved fur babies only on the condition that own bedding is provided and your pets are happy not to jump on any furniture and must on no account go upstairs please! Additional cleaning charges will be levied if there is evidence of this and this may include the cost of new bedding or sofa covers. Please note Fern Cottage rental weeks run from Saturday to Saturday. brbrHeating throughout the cottage is by modern slim electric panel heaters. Please do not use the BBQ on it! This is our family's holiday cottage and you are welcome to use any of the DVD's, toys, books or equipment we leave out. Outside: The Garden – our small but perfectly formed private South facing garden is level, enclosed and peaceful. Patio furniture and barbecue are provided for those sunny days and warm nights! The Piggery!- Our beautifully appointed former pigsty (every house in the row had one for keeping a ‘family pig’ to fatten for high days and holidays and we are lucky to have two!) at the back of the garden is now a fine Utility Room and Workshop. Here you’ll find the BBQ, garden furniture, a further fridge, Belfast sink, washing machine and tumble-dryer. There is also a stock of body boards, crab-lines, buckets and spades, sun shelters, and a parasol for guests to use! Utility Room: The Piggery Utility Room and Workshop outside. Extra fridge, Belfast sink, new washing machine and new tumble-dryer. Body boards, crab-lines, buckets and spades, sun shelters and parasol, BBQ and garden furniture all included for you to use. The lodge is equipped to a high standard and SLEEPS 6 PLUS A COT AND ONE MEDIUM SIZE DOG.brThe lodge fully furnished and white bed linen is provided (apart from cot linen), and all the beds made up ready for arrival.brbrTea towels, oven cloth, cleaning materials and bath towels are supplied.brbrThe lodge has a large open plan lounge and kitchen/diner area overlooking the wood decked veranda with a view over our valley and rolling rural countryside. The kitchen is equipped with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher microwave, toaster, kettle, full size upright fridge freezer, steam iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and an excellent range of crockery, cutlery, kitchen tools, stainless steel saucepans, etc. And also a six person white paint and oak dining suite.brbrThe lounge is furnished with a leather sofa and chair set, coffee table, 37 inch Samsung HD widescreen colour TV, FreeSat HD TV channels.brThe master bedroom is furnished with double bed, open oak wardrobe and free standing bedside cabinets.
