Beautiful well stocked gardens surround the property with ample parking and plenty of space to store bikes, surfboards etc.brbrSt Agnes has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tin mining was of vital importance to the village, but today it is also well known for its thriving arts and crafts and for its many excellent restaurants and cafes. Rosevean House is half a mile from Trevaunance Cove which is a fantastic beach for surfers but also for those simply wishing to enjoy the scenery or explore the splendid rock pools. There are two other nearby beaches, Chapel Porth which is owned by the National Trust and Porthtowan which was recently described by the Telegraph as the UK’s best beach for learning to surf. During the Winter/Autumn months this is a popular surfing beach, but in Summer is usually very calm and safe for little ones. Water sports hire is also available down in the cove. From here, beautiful coastal paths lead off in both directions. A short walk East and you will arrive at the lesser-know Trevellas Cove. Continue on to find fields of blooming flowers in Spring and historic tin mine ruins! brbrOnly 5 minutes drive round the headland is the white sand beach of Porthtowan. Another popular surfing destination, this beach has surf schools, gear rental and lovely cafes overlooking the ocean.brbrGetting Around:brDue to the remote nature of Cornwall, a vehicle is recommended for getting the most of your time here.
