Stayed Jun 15, 2024Fantastic views from the property. Apartment had a lovely patio to sit out on. Some small issues to do with the rails in the wardrobes but 5p coins took care of these issues.

Stayed Apr 9, 2022The property is sited within walking distance of the beach (up a steep hill). The views from the flat are arguably the best, taking in the beach, sea and St Ives from the living room through massive windows. The layout of the bedrooms is unusual but works well with the children away from the the living room. A useful space outside the front door to dry and keep wetsuits etc safely. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed Oct 23, 2021Stunning location (think I said wow when I first walked in) Kids enjoyed staying there as much as us. Being close to the beach (be prepared for a a good hill climb) and also helped having Netflix for them to keep them entertained whilst we got ready for the day. Couldn’t fault the property, just thought the 8.30am exit call was too early for us on the last day to get three young kids and packing sorted, so ended up leaving the night before. However it did mean an easier drive home with not too much traffic. Would definitely stay again and recommend for such a lovely location and area. Thanks

Stayed Jul 31, 2021Our second visit to this property and it didn’t disappoint, we are missing the stunning views again already! Lovely, clean and spacious apartment with parking in the beautiful location of Carbis bay, 2 minute walk to the station and beach areas with easy access into St Ives, would definitely recommend, thank you for another wonderful stay!

Stayed Aug 14, 2021We have just spent a week in this apartment. The views from the front are fabulous and the location is very good and very near Carbis Bay train station. The kitchen is very well stocked and the sitting room is lovely. The beach is gorgeous. The walk down to the beach is relatively steep but not difficult for the average person/child. However I do feel that the cost was high for what we got. This is a two bedroom flat with attractive views from the open plan front sitting room/kitchen but which is very much less attractive to the rear. The rear ground floor bedrooms have windows overlooking a communal courtyard with a bright lamppost in it. There were blackout blinds in one bedroom but not the other. There is a patio outside the sitting room but it is centimetres away from the patio of the neighbours on each side, so you are heavily dependent on them being considerate (which they were during our week). Also, to get to the covered parking space, you have to go up two flights of stairs and cross a road. Also the mattresses creaked very loudly every time we moved. Finally on arrival the house smelt strongly of air fresheners (we counted six in total) and the storage heaters were on - in August - it took overnight to cool down. Overall, there are many pluses about this property, but be in no doubt that it is a commercial rental property which is part of a portfolio.

Stayed Jul 10, 2021It’s a room with the best view and easy access to the beach and the train station. Car parking space too small and check in time far too late in the day and check out of 8.30am pretty unhelpful with a family to organise and car to pack.

Stayed Jul 3, 2021We had a lovely time staying at the apartment. The view to the beach and ocean is what makes the apartment so special. The location is great although the walk up the hill back from the beach is a killer. Very steep hill. A couple of things that we didn’t like were the beds as they were lumpy and hard. We didn’t sleep well in them at all so maybe the owner can invest in some better quality mattresses? Also, the washer/dryer was temperamental to use as once the cycle finished it locked the clothes inside. We waited half hour to see if the lock would turn off but it didn’t so ended up having to contact the owner who responded promptly. We ended up running the cycle again to get the clothes out in the end. We also tried to dry the clothes but it ended up washing them instead so I’d say more guidance is needed for the washer/dryer usage. Aside from those two issues we loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Carbis Bay :)
