The river access point can be reached via the cement path South of the home leading down to the river that features a 60-year-old hand-built cobblestone wall and is a great spot for swimming, fishing or putting in a canoe or kayak.brbrThe bluffs with sunrise and sunset views can be reached via a short and easy mostly grassy walk West up the hill trail which loops through the forest and back to the start. Please watch out for rattlesnakes and fire ant nests anywhere you walk on the property.brbrPlease know that during periods of recent heavy rains our grass grows very quickly but needs to be dried out before we can mow it so there may be times when the grass on the trails is taller than expected -- we do our best to keep our trails looking pristine at all times.brbrDuring periods of recent heavy rains, the Ouachita River may be flooded and rushing at a rapid rate. That may render parts of your river access temporarily inaccessible, or the river would be too treacherous to enter, swim or boat.
