For your comfort, we offer central air conditioning for those warmer months! On the bottom level there is a great room (including the kitchen, the dining area, and the living room with a gas fireplace), a half bathroom, a laundry room, and the master bedroom w/ bathroom. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, all having their own attached bathrooms. (ALL bedding and linens, including the duvet covers and bath mats, are laundered between guests). Out front, there is a deck running the entire length of the house and a porch swing to sit on to enjoy the weather and watch the kids play. There is also a set of Cornhole boards, and a Hook 21 game for your enjoyment. Out back, there is a fence yard (not landscaped and still in a natural forest state...see pics) and a large uncovered deck to soak up some warm sunshine!brbrNearby, there is a park with a playground and volleyball court and there are plenty of trails for hiking, biking, and off-roading. Mormon Lake, or Lake Mary, are both in the area and are great places to have a picnic! brbrYou will definitely want to visit Munds Park's amazing local restaurants (all minutes from the cabin), including Agee’s Barbeque Market, SportsMunds Bar & Grill, NiMarco's Pizza, the Pinewood Diner, and Kota’s (an amazing coffee shop!). Since it is a small town, It is always best to check the days/hours of operation. It can vary depending on the season.brbrbr**IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE**br-Pictures will be taken before, and after, rental. We are trusting you with our family cabin. Please respect that and follow all house rules and policies. If something gets damaged, let us know asap and we will address it professionally and fairly.br-There is a minimum age requirement of 25 years old. At least one member of the party must be 25 years old or older.br-No parties, or events, are permitted.br-There is a Ring doorbell (with a camera and audio) installed at the front door, which is used to confirm arrivals and departures for our cleaning crew, and to provide additional security when the property is empty. There is also a ring camera, with audio, mounted on the house facing the back yard. They are not monitored during your stay and will only be reviewed if there is a need (neighbor complaints, weather, parking issues, etc). br-Occupancy: Booker must stay on the property. The occupancy limit is 11 guests, Infants are included in the occupancy limit (there are exceptions, so please contact host)br-There is parking for 5 to 6 vehicles. Please let us know if you have more than that, or if you will have trailers/side x sides, etc. We may be able to accommodate, but please contact host prior to booking for approval.br-While we supply a baby gate for use by the stairs, please note that it is only to be used at the bottom of the stairs. It is a tension gate, and if not installed properly, or if it is pushed/leaned on, it may not be secure. At night, park residents night cameras have picked up bears and large cats. Munds Park is in the forest. Please act accordingly. br-There is a fire pit in the backyard for guest use. However, it is guest responsibility to check to make sure there are no fire restrictions (pinewoodfire.org). All outdoor fires must be in the designated fire pit in the back yard, even if you bring your own self contained fire pit. There is a hose on the side of the house, and a shovel in the mechanical closet (off of the laundry room). Please, keep these close at hand when burning, and never leave a fire unattended! Fireworks, firecrackers and all types of pyrotechnics are prohibited. *Firewood is not provided*br-In winter, make sure you are parked all the way in the driveway. DO NOT park in the culdesac. The cabin is 3600sf of breathtaking views. 3 stories, each with enormous wrap-around decks offering views of the serene lake, towering mountains, and pines as far as the eye can see. We are close to everything, but without sacrificing the peace & quiet we all seek when escaping to Munds Park. The 'Castle in the Pines' is a true 5-bedroom, each with a king or queen bed and a bunk-room with a divider. Two of the rooms are Master Suites with private decks, en-suite full bathrooms & shower & tubs! The Castle sleeps 14 comfortably in beds, and then couches & air-mattresses for up to 17 total max capacity, inc kids. We have a folding crib, a pack-n-play, and other baby-friendly amenities. On the first floor is a game room with pool table, ping-pong, appleTV, 65' new plasma TV, Dish, WiFi & all the best board games, fireplaces, wet-bar kitchenette with sink, wine fridge, and mini-fridge. Head out to the deck, grill some burgers and enjoy a game of bean bag-toss & giant Chess. Wind down on the deck at night with a glass of wine and enjoy the unparalleled star-gazing in the clear night sky! We have owned the cabin for 17 years and we still use it regularly. If you like to explore, hit the Crystal Point Trail minutes away, or head into Flagstaff and enjoy the ped-mall and there are festivals and concerts just about every weekend (20 minute drive). A short drive to Sedona (30-45 minutes); Grand Canyon (2-3 hrs); local casino (30 min) or Las Vegas (~4 hrs); even Phoenix and D-backs baseball games only 90 minutes! Amazing trails to hike; ATV's to rent; historic ghost-towns.....seriously it's ALL here you cannot find a better family vacation in a better place at a better cabin at this price. Winter wonderland also in the winter months with reliable annual snowfall, skiing and snow boarding at SnowBowl about 35 minutes drive north.brbrLess than 10 minutes walk from the home is over 25,000 acres of the Coconino National Forest. Great for hiking, off road vehicles, mountain biking or overnight camping. Also, walking distance to Lake O'Dell for fishing, kayaking or canoeing. Pinewood Golf Club to hit some golf balls, or play a scenic round of golf, is less than a mile from the cabin.brbrThere are 2 food marts/gas and 2 restaurants in Munds Park and an ATV rental shop and a gift shop. We typically go up to Flagstaff every few days when we need more food or want to catch a film or a festival. It's 15 minute drive north on the I-17.brbrOne Day Adventures:brMany Northern Arizona adventures are close by, try the delightfully scenic drive to Oak Creek/Slide Rock and Sedona for world class dining and art galleries, only a 30 minute drive. Head north to Snow Bowl atop the San Francisco Peaks for some skiing and snowboarding in the winter or just lunch and a skyride in the summer. Many enjoy the Grand Canyon Railway scenic train ride from Williams, and Bearizona is really fun, the bears come right up to your car! Our kids favorite is Flagstaff Extreme, a crazy rope adventure park high in the trees located by the Flagstaff fairgrounds just 10 minutes from Munds Park. And don't forget Meteor Crater a short drive out of Flagstaff where you can see a massive crater formed by a meteor . So many wonderful day trips, and all close by for single day adventures! Our personal favorite is Downtown Flagstaff where you'll find great dining, shopping, art and entertainment, like outdoor movies in Heritage Square during the summer and terrific bands in the fall/winter evenings.

Escape the heat of the Valley, and retreat to this wooded cabin, just a short walk from the Coconino National Forest. Munds Park is a quiet secluded town, yet a quick easy 20 min drive to Flagstaff, AZ or 50 min drive to Sedona. We do allow pets for a fee. Please do not leave them in the home unattended, unless crated. The newly installed backyard fence does have some small gaps at the bottom, please be aware if you have tiny pets. brSTR # 24-0082 brTwo living rooms spaces. Split bedroom floorplan. Two Patios; one in the front and one in the back. Parking is available in the driveway. The garage is not available for parking. Street parking is prohibited. Small Town, Neighborhood community. Munds Park has both Full Time and Part-Time residents. We have million dollar Chalet style cabins, manufactured homes and everything in between. We do not have a grocery store in town. However the two gas stations have pretty good markets for last minute needs. Munds Park is a great place to come and unwind. Disconnect from hectic schedules, and a place to enjoy the outdoors. the town is easy to get around by foot, bike, car, side by sides, or car. Parking is available in the driveway. No parking is permitted on the street. if you intend to bring pets, be sure to indicate that upon inquiry. Backyard is fenced. there are some small gaps under fence .. smaller dogs could get thru. we are currently working on filling the gaps We have 1 security cameras in the front of the home facing the front patio and driveway. Any violations of the maximum capacity of 8 people will be grounds for termination of your stay. A personalized Entry code will be given to each guest prior to arrival. The code will only work for the times designated in your booking. Forest Access for both hiking and riding ATV's is right in Munds Park. Hiking access is just a couple blocks away from the cabin! There a couple restaurants and bars, gas stations, and a campground in Munds Park. Flagstaff has lots to do year round and is just 20 minutes north of the cabin! Our neighborhood has a variety of similar cabins and manufactured homes (our home is a traditional stick built home, however we suspect that it was a kit home that was added on to in stages) - the surrounding area has a variety of seasonal and year round cabins to million dollar homes! We have year round residents as well as many vacation rentals around our home. We ask that all guests are considerate of the Fulltime residents around us. Munds Park is right off Hwy 17 - once in Munds Park we use our ATV to get around! We value our guests and expect them to treat our home as they would treat their own home. We do have cameras on the property. All cameras are outdoors ONLY. camera 1: on front of house Eve facing front door. camera 2: on patio. Camera 3 on back of house facing gate. camera 4: on back shed facing AC and Propane tank. camera 5: on tree facing driveway The cameras will be turned off during your visit, unless we receive a complaint, if we receive a complaint, we will turn on the cameras to verify the issue and give you one warning. We have MANY Fulltime residents on this street, and we require our guest are respectful of them during your stay. THIS IS ALSO OUR HOME, and we want it to remain a wonderful place to stay. NOTE** We have the best internet that is available in Munds Park, however, being a rural area with many people pulling on the system at the same time, speed can sometimes suffer, especially on the weekends. Television services are STREAMING services only. You can log in with internet TV profile to watch movies and TV shows. Please know, however, that internet is inconsistent. You may want to download anything you want to watch before you come to the cabin. Large dog Kennel available. 42. You are required to pick up your own animals poop. If you check out and there is poop in the backyard or front yard, you will be charged an additional $100. It is a newly remodeled house located within the ponderosa pines. Get ready to create unforgettable memories...With 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas and 2 full baths the Campfire cabin can comfortably host 1-3 families and friends. br(10 ppl max).brbrOn the entry level there is a deck with seating. Upon entering the cabin you will find a living room with a comfy sectional sofa, smart tv, full body massage chair, games, and toys. Also located on this level are 2 bedrooms with Queen beds, a full bathroom with walk in shower, and a washer and dryer. There is also a bonus room perfect for a kids hangout area with another smart tv, bunk beds and Queen size bed.
