Welcome to Invested Time - a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a loft / office space located conveniently across the road from a vacant property where not even a sand dune can obstruct your view of Alabama's beautiful sandy beaches.brbrUpon entering our beach house, guests will walk into an open floor plan of a large living room and kitchen, with the kitchen accommodating up to 10 guests at one time. Our house also offers a master bedroom suite and connecting bathroom (double vanity sink, walk in shower w/ 2 shower heads on opposite sides, and spa tub), 2 queen bed rooms that share a 2nd bathroom in between, and a spiral staircase to an open loft space with a queen -sized bed and reading nook. For anyone having to work during their vacation stay, this space also includes a desk and chair positioned across the front half moon window so guests have a direct view of the beach. Each bedroom includes a smart TV and plenty of space to store your belongings. We do have a pack-n-play in one of the spare bedroom closets for anyone that may need it. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for your enjoyment. The parking space under the house on ground level is large enough to accommodate vehicles, boats, jet-skis, etc. The boat launch to Mobile Bay is three miles from our house's location. Also included on our ground level is a smaller charcoal grill, a wagon full of beach and sand toys for children of all ages, and a wooden table that can seat up to 6 people. Located in the rear, is an outdoor shower with more than enough privacy. The yard is enclosed with a beach fence.brbrMy husband and I hope that you love staying and vacationing here as much as we do. Can also be rented as a very affordable 6BR 6BA in the middle of Gulf Shores West Beach. brbrIf you need a really nice smaller home, on a budget, OGP3 is perfect! Most seasons, it is less than the cost of a single hotel room per night, yet located in the middle of West Beach, lagoon side (nice shared dock and pool!), and only a short walk (1/4 mile) to the beach (you walk right next to my Seafoam home!). brbr3BR 3BA. OGP3 is lagoon side, however, it is not lagoon front (like my OGP5 home is). Easy access to the community dock, beach, and pool all right on the lagoon. Nice! There is ALSO a lagoon front beach by our community pool. MORE Yes. You can take the new pedestrian walkway from the road outside our home to the Calloway Bridge (and the public beach there too!). Nice walk along the lagoon! brbrPARKINGbrThere is available onsite parking for at least 4 cars. In fact, you could park more cars than you should be driving for a 10 person place! Inquire if you have special vehicle needs. brbrWIFI/INTERNETbrYES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home! That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like It is generally solid and ran 250Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests troubleshooting it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!brbrSOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETCbrAs with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a starter supply of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well. brbrPETSbrWe do consider well-behaved canine furry friends.
