We are located within 20 minutes of downtown Florence Alabama home to the W.C. Handy Music Festival. Live Music emanates from the restaurants and bars downtown all year long. There are kids that like to play basketball down the street, there are neighbors whom like to play their music while they are outside (not heard from inside the home.) Neighbors use the alley to walk to the store and back to their homes. All these things are out of our control. We have elderly family that lives in the neighborhood alone without problem- but do not book if you are a picky traveler- this is for the budget friendly traveler and students. Once again- do not book if you are a picky traveler and you are not comfortable staying in a mixed cultural electric neighborhood.
