You can swim in the very deep, clear water, jump from the top of the 2 story dock or lounge in the water. Endless options for a relaxing getaway or a full day of playing. 3 levels of decks with chairs to provide endless lake viewing options. You can dine outside on the screened porch or on the deck with a large dinning table. The house has approximately 3,200 square feet of centrally heated and cooled living area. The house features four bedrooms, four bathrooms. 2 levels of living including main and lower level fully equipped Kitchens and Living areas with large flat screen TVs. Both levels have an open floor plan with combined Living, Dining and Kitchen areas. Main Level has full sized washer and dryer in large Laundry room with laundry detergent provided. 2 Master Bedrooms on the main level both have attached bathrooms. One additional large bedroom is also located on the main level with the bathroom across the hall. 4th Bedroom is located on the lower level with a large bathroom across the hall. This is a great place for kids with easy access to the game area with a Foosball table, games and a dart board (magnetic). The main level open living area is large and can accommodate multiple families comfortably with seating at the kitchen island, seating for 8 at the dinning room table, a large sectional couch and an additional sitting area all in the same open room with fabulous views of the lake. There is a covered single slip boat dock if you decide to bring a boat. The dock has power and lights. The power to the dock can be shut off. There are approximately 40-45 steps from the deck to the dock walkover. This is average for Smith Lake. We are located in between Rock Creek Marina and Duskin Point Marina for convenient gas fill ups. This lake home provides everything you need for your vacation getaway. Linens, beach towels, life vests, laundry soap, utensils, pots, pans, small kitchen appliances and even some pantry items (sugar, flour, spices) and the owners strive to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. The town of Arley's main street is less than 10 minutes away and has a fabulous grocery store that also makes their own biscuits and out of this world croissants. They have a deli where you can call in and pre-order delicious smoked chicken and BBQ ribs. They also have pizza, deli items, sides and desserts for any size group. It has a dash of fantasy about it. The ambiance is eclectic and interesting. It is a cross between French country and seaside village with a tropical flair reminiscent of Rio or Tahiti. There is something interesting around every corner and the sunset view as seen from the hot-tub is spectacular.brThe house sits on the edge of a large rock peninsula, reaching out into the lake. In the summer the rock formation is submerged a few inches. The lake is about an hour from Huntsville and an hour from Birmingham. Its about three hours from Nashville and three hours from Atlanta. GPS is a must have to find your way here and for boating navigation. We have our boat docked in one slip and it is not available for rent.brWe also have three kayaks that you can use but life jackets will be required. brPlenty of outside chairs, gas grill and fire pit and wrought iron table and chairs with lounge chair.brbrIf you don’t want to walk up and down steep steps then this is the cabin for you.brYou Only need to walk out the door onto the covered front porch and take 7 steps to the uncovered deck and you will be on the walk over bridge to the boat slips and swim pier where you can enjoy fishing or swimming, reading or relaxing in the sun!brWe have plenty of parking at top of the driveway on the left side.brAfter you turn onto our driveway you will pass a house on the right that is not us. We share a driveway with them. Please don’t stop there! Cabin perched on the hillside overlooking the main channel.. Rock Creek. 100 ft+ deep water year round. Access to the water via a gravel road that circles around the hillside to the clearing below with available space for parking with easy access to the water for fishing and swimming. Also there are steps from the cabin down to the boat dock and swim deck, but like most places around here there are quit a few steps. There's around 100 stepsbrOther things to notebrIf you're bringing a boat and trailer there is plenty of space on the property to park (cleared pad on top of the hill). Swayback Bridge Public Boat Ramp is less than 3 miles from the cabin by car. You can see it from the cabin on the other side of the river. You are welcome to park your boat at my boat dock if you like.
