The closest public access is at Mobile Street. It is about a three-minute drive from the house. It has a parking area and a boardwalk. Mobile Street is definitely our favorite public access on the peninsula.brOther things to notebrBeach Information:brbrbr✶ Swimming in the Gulf of Mexico is much different than swimming in a pool. It is important to respect the strength of the water and to protect the marine life that lives in our area. Guests can check the surf conditions before heading to the beach. Riptides are a serious concern for the Fort Morgan Peninsula. To ensure guest safety, please pay attention to water conditions. Always check the tide and weather conditions before getting into the Gulf of Mexico. To receive a daily text with surf conditions and beach flag information, text ALBEACHES to 888-777.brbrbrbr✶ On that same note, it is highly important to respect the sea turtles, especially during nesting season, which runs May through October. It is a Federal offense to disturb a sea turtle or its nest. In an effort to help this endangered species, despite what others do, do not leave beach equipment on the beach overnight and do not leave on bright floodlights. The floodlights disorient the baby sea turtles, which results in a very sad ending to their lives. If the Fish and Wildlife department can pinpoint a home's floodlight to a disturbed nest, they will charge the guests with a Federal offense. If you need a break from the beach, this low-density complex offers a heated pool and hot tub. brbrLooking for something to do while you're here Sunchase is 1.5 miles from The Hangout and all the main attractions that Gulf Shores has to offer!brbrThis cozy unit has two bedrooms and one (1) bath within 660 sq ft of living space. The kitchen is all electric and stocked with dishes, dishwasher, pots, pans, cooking utensils, microwave, Keurig Duo, and more! There is a hair dryer, iron/ironing board, washer and dryer in the unit that is available to guests as well. To help you get settled, there is a starter kit that includes: dishwasher tablet, laundry pod, toilet paper, trash bag and paper towels! brbrIf you want to stay inside, there is plenty of entertainment inside the unit itself. Sit on the queen sleeper sofa to enjoy the large TV in the living room, or watch one of the TVs in each bedroom. We have card games and board games for your enjoyment, as well! brbrOutside there are charcoal grills near the pool and newly renovated hot tub, and of course, the main attraction, direct access to the beach!brbrPlease note that there is one reserved parking space that has to paid for at the time of arrival for this unit and three additional guest spaces on the left side of the complex that are first-come, first-serve for the complex. Cost for parking is $53.
