The shallowness of Sand Bay is ideal for the whole family; safe for kids and gentle waves. Lots of birdlife, watch for the bald eagles! Beach toys and towels, rafts, three kayaks, a stand-up paddle board and a beachside picnic table are all provided.brbrFor easy excursions walk, bike, kayak or wade less than a third of a mile to Sand Bay Town Park for a larger public beach with grills, picnic tables and a kayak launch. You can also hike or bike to Wagon Trail Campground and Rowley’s Bay Resort & Restaurant with access to the Mink River and its estuary… great fishing!
