Nature and peacefulness is all around you at this beautiful home on Goose Lake. Our family has had this home for 18 years, kids are getting older so I would like to share with you our home and our love of Wisconsin. You can find enough to explore and do staying at the house or you can drive to the Dells which is only about 30 minutes away. We are located on the main part of the lake with our own pier, which will be getting a make over in the spring due to high water levels the last 2 years. We have a paddle boat, 2 stand up paddle boards 1 kayak and a fishing boat. Goose Lake is an 85 acre motorized lake but also offers the best fishing around. The lake itself is a bit weedy and in some spots mucky but you can swim if you choose at the frontage or at the public beach area. Our house is on a dead end street which makes for a private atmosphere. Take a walk around the lake, see if you can see a sand hill crane or stop and get a book at the free little library along the way. We have plenty of land for you to play horseshoes, badminton, bags, ladder ball, bocce ball, soccer, baseball, you name it we have it supplied for you or bring your own lawn games to enjoy. There is also a lower level rec room with a pool table, foos ball table, water rafts and 2nd full size fridge waiting for you to stock with a cold drinks so you don't have to run upstairs to the fridge. The lower level has patio doors to walk out to yard or view the lake while you play a game of pool. The house has 2 bedrooms one bath on main floor and 2 bedrooms one bath on the second floor. The kitchen is fully stocked to make dinners or use the gas grill out on the patio. We have plenty of board games, card games, bingo, coloring book and toys. No wi-fi or cable but 2 TV's with VCR to watch a movie that maybe you have not seen in awhile. We have regular movies and kids movie titles available. The town of Oxford is about 10 minute drive if you forgot something there is a dollar general and a liquor store. On weekends they have flea markets. There is also a laundromat and restaurant in town. Whether you are here to relax, reconnect or have some adventure you will find it all and more, we look forward to sharing our house with your family. We hope you make lots of great memories and would be honored to be a part of them. We know your dog is part of your family so we allow all well behaved dogs to vacation with you. Additional fee per day for each dog. For those looking to rent a boat, there is a marina in Montello called Johnson Boats 608-330-4405. They will deliver and pick up from the lakes boat landing.

Drink your coffee or read a book and sit in the screened porch as the breeze brings the smell of pine and summer. The house provides three separate bedrooms each with a queen bed. There is an additional bunk bed room with 3 bunkbeds. There is a main living room space, kitchen area, screened porch, basement area and three bathrooms. One bathroom is attached to the main bedroom. Step outside and sit at the patio while the kids play in the sand or in the lake. Jump off the floating dock and when the sun sets, grab the marshmallows, graham crackers and Hershey's to enjoy a gooey s'more.brbrAll of this is for your rest and enjoyment! We ask that while staying here to please maintain quiet hours after 10pm until 8am. This keeps our neighbors happy who also are enjoying some rest and refreshment :)brbrAdditionally, because our home is on a septic system, we ask that guests be mindful of water usage. We want you to be comfortable, and you are welcome to use items like the washer and dryer. Please reach out before your stay to make sure they are out.brbrWINTER ACCESS brParker Lake house is accessible all year round. That said, winter storms happen often with little warning. We have a snow removal service that clears the access driveway, parking areas, as well as sidewalk access to the front door. In the event of larger snow storms we work hard to have the access areas snow plowed before arrival and depending on severity of snow storm during your stay. In the event this happens, we will plan to be in close contact with each guest and do our best to keep full and safe access to the house throughout your time at the house. We ask for grace in these situations since we will not be the only one needing access during snowstorms. brbrRoom by Room DetailsbrbrENTRANCEbrWalking up to the front entrance you'll see an area for outdoor dining, great for an outdoor brunch. Upon entering our home, you'll find plenty of jacket hooks and space to put things. There is a full bathroom with a tub shower near the front entrance as well.brbrPRIMARY BEDROOMbrThe primary bedroom is on the main level and has a queen bed with comfortable bedding, two nightstand with lighting, and an en suite full bathroom with a standing shower and separate bath tub.brbrSECOND BEDROOMbrDown the hallway is our second bedroom with a queen sized bed with cozy bedding, two nightstand, and a dresser. This bedroom is directly off the kitchen area.brbrKITCHEN/DINING AREAbrOur kitchen is spacious and can handle preparing larger meals. There is adequate prep space with counters and the island, and a couple of bar stools at the island if you need additional dining space. There is a large refrigerator, a gas range stovetop and oven, several coffee brewing methods, a microwave, toaster, a plug in roaster, and even a waffle maker for adventurous breakfasts, among many other items. The dining table is just off the kitchen for easy serving.brbrLIVING ROOMbrThis is one of our favorite spaces. Our living room has gorgeous views overlooking the lake and beach area, and is a sight to behold year round. There's plenty of seating for conversations, movie watching, or quiet reading time. We love turning on the gas fire place and spending time in this room.brbrSUN ROOMbrJust off the kitchen and living room is the sun room. This room provides additional dining and seating options with wicker furniture and windows all around. It is a 3 season area and gets cold in the winter months. Just outside the sun room is our outdoor cooking area where the Blackstone gas grill is located.brbrLOWER LEVEL BATHROOMbrFor the downstairs guests there is a spacious full bathroom with a standing shower.brbrLOWER LEVEL BEDROOMbrDown the hallway on the lower level we have a bedroom with a queen bed, comfortable bedding, side tables, and lighting.brbrLOWER LEVEL BUNK ROOMbrAcross from the downstairs queen bedroom is our bunk room which can sleep up to 6 with 2 sets of bunk beds and 2 single beds. This room is particularly fun for kids and has books to read and eye catching decor.brbrLOWER LEVEL LIVING ROOMbrThe living room in the lower level serves as a recreation room. We have an air hockey table for some classic one on one matchups, and a round table that can accommodate board and card games. There is a couch area with a TV and DVD player for movie or shows you might want to enjoy downstairs. You can also access the beach area easily from this room through the sliding glass doors. The views in this room are also very enjoyable.brbrHOT TUBbrThe hot tub is located on the rear right corner of the home. It is easily accessed through the lower level living room, or by going down the outside flight of stairs on the right side of the house. We also have an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand after hanging at the beach area, which is on only during the warmer months. Please be sure to be sand-free before using the hot tub.brbrBEACH AREA/DOCKbrOur beach area is another favorite spot of ours, and where we spend a lot of time in the summer. You'll find beach lounge chairs for relaxing in, a small bistro table, a fire pit with seating for lakeside fires, and our dock. On the beach we provide kayaks and paddle boards for venturing out onto the lake. Be sure to pull everything back onto the beach after you are done using them.
