Burczyk's Lake House

The lake is not swimmable- especially right off the pier and it's tiny! The only way you are going to be able to enjoy the lake is if you rent a boat and even then your options of swimming are slim because the lake is so weedy. We dropped anchor in the middle so we could get out in tubes to float. The house is old and clearly had a leak in the hallway upstairs as the ceiling was caved in with a dehumidifier below and towel to catch the water on the floor upon arrival. The lawn is huge but unusable due to amount of goose poop that is on it - understandably out of the owner's control. The only bed that was comfortable was the king bed and the second bathroom is downstairs by all the games. A little inconvenient when all the bedrooms are upstairs and you have a house full of guests. Reclined a chair and found alot of debris under it including old food. Only one kitchen towel and two trash bags so we did have to go to town to get more. Plenty of kitchen cookware to use which was nice and ALOT of wood for campfires which was really nice as well! Thankful for the kayaks to be able to get out but the paddleboards are very old and very dirty so we didn't use them. All in all - I wouldn't stay here again especially for the price. If the lake were nicer and you could actually get in the water from the pier I could understand the price - feel like you're paying for the game room more than anything.

Pretty little spot. Fishing was great. Nice yard. Saw deer everyday. Game room sold it. The place to be when it stormed.

Family had a wonderful time. Home was beautiful, check in was easy and communication with owner was quick. Kitchen was well stocked bedroom and living room furniture was all very comfy. Everyone in the party really enjoyed the supplied kayaks and paddleboards. Fishing was a nice bonus,plenty of bass and panfish. Basement was amazing like a step back in time. Wildlife in yard was a nice way to start the day.

This home is loaded with fun activities and nature. Full arcade in the basement with pool table and more. Firepit overlooking peaceful Lake Lawrence available for fishing or kayaking or just chillin. We were visited by deer, sand cranes, two giant snapping turtles, ducks and geese. Fantastic place for families and very dog friendly and close to the Dells. We highly recomend this vacation rental.

Always a great stray

The house was great but the basement is just amazing! Every game you could think of is down there and it was SO much fun! Very pet friendly house and the lake view was peaceful and relaxing. The firepit was easy to use and there was plenty of firewood on hand. Backyard was huge and well taken care of and we would love to come back in the summer so we could use the lake toys too! Owner was very easy to contact and had great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We would recommend this place to anyone!!!

We had a great time. Kids had a blast in the game room. Perfect location. Would definitely rent again.

Spent a fall weekend with great friends and unfortunately weather was a little rough, but it didnt matter-- the basement was decked out with so many fun games we could have stayed for weeks and not been bored! Host Daryl was great and gave us some ideas for things nearby to check out...the Thirsty Beaver was a big hit as was Sassy Cow ice cream...the real fun though was the basement!!! We played pool, darts, air hockey and arcade games and board games nonstop. Would DEFINITELY come back, this property is full of fun and we didnt even enjoy the firepit or the lake much due to the weather--but we still had a blast.

The perfect place for a guys weekend. We enjoyed the lake, kayaks, fire pit, and all the games! The property was just as advertised, clean, and Daryl had great communication. Will definitely be back!
