Our house, built in 1924, is situated on a quiet street in Westlake walkable to Downtown, Fremont, and Queen Anne and a quick ride to Ballard, Capitol Hill, and University. Three public transit lines pass right by to take you anywhere you want to go. There's an expansive shared deck great for grilling and lounging outside. This is the perfect place to relax as you explore all that Seattle has to offer.brbrThe entrance is located at the back of the house off of the deck. Walk down the driveway to the left and you'll see the deck on your right. The deck has a peek-a-boo view of the lake. You'll be located in a renovated basement of a tri-unit building. We live right above and it's an old house, so you will likely hear us and our dog, Gracie, walking around at some point.brbrWestlake is Seattle's smallest neighborhood located on the western shore of Lake Union. Our house is located on a quiet street off of Dexter Avenue and there are two sets of stairs that will lead you down to Westlake Avenue and the lakefront. Street parking is free and usually pretty easy to find within two blocks of the house. Watch out for fire hydrants which are painted green and often easy to miss.brbrIf you need anything, please let me know.brbrWestlake is Seattle's smallest neighborhood located on the western shore of Lake Union. Our house is located on a quiet street off of Dexter Avenue and there are two sets of stairs that will lead you down to Westlake Avenue and the lakefront. Just steps away on Dexter you can find several local businesses. Lyon's Grocery is an excellent convenience store with delicious deli sandwiches. If you like boba, Tea King is a great option. The Toledo is a unique bar that also serves amazing flatbreads. And of course there's the Swedish Club which hosts various events throughout the week. If you enjoy kayaking or stand up paddle boarding, I would recommend the Northwest Outdoor Center.brbrThree public transit lines, 40, 62, and RapidRide E line, have stations on Westlake, Dexter, and Aurora respectively. If you take public transportation, I would recommend getting the Transit Go app for tickets and use your phone's mapping app to find the best routes. If you enjoy walking (or biking), I would recommend taking a walk along the Cheshiahud trail along Lake Union toward Fremont or South Lake Union (SLU). Both are just a mile away via the trail. To get to Pike Place Market, walk to SLU and then south along Westlake Ave which has a lot of shopping and dining options. That will get you to Westlake Center at which point you can take a right on Pine street and the market will be straight ahead. Our unit is within driving distance to several popular restaurants, shops, and parks. An ideal base to explore Seattle. It’s tucked away from the main street but super easy to jump on the hwy or main road.brbrVery stylish and newly built in 2022. Close to 1st hill hospitals, I-5, I-90, Capitol Hill, Lake Washington, and Downtown. Located just a short walk to Judkins Park and Playfield. The home is very private as its the townhome located farthest from the street.brbrThis ground-level townhouse is all on one floor. When you first enter you walk into the living room, which flows into the kitchen. The two bedrooms (one featuring a queen bed and the other a twin trundle) are both located off of the kitchen. The one full bathroom and in-unit washer dryer is also located just off the kitchen.brbrYou will have access to the entire home. Washer and dryer located in-unit is free and will also be accessible for guests.brbrCheck-in will be contactless but the host is always available for questions/recommendations via text or call.brbrThe home is located in the small district of Judkins Park in Seattle. Surrounded by up-and-coming neighborhoods that have seen big changes in recent years, the triangular cluster of neighborhoods are still quite sleepy at its core, where one finds Judkins Park. brbrMost of the commerce and dining in the area is found at its edges. Residences in Judkins Park are mostly older single family homes and a few newer apartment buildings and townhomes. brbrThere is plenty of green space, including the eponymous Judkins Park, which runs parallel to 23rd Ave, and Sam Smith Park, which sits over the I-90 tunnel and adjoins the Northwest African American Museum. Judkins Park area is served by several transit routes, which connect it to downtown, the Mount Bake Light Rail Station, and adjacent neighborhoods, such as the International District. Keep in mind, it will take you about 5 minutes to the station from the home in a car and another 40 mins to get from the station to the airport.
