Private Vacation Home
360-Degree View Home in Red Rocks, Kayenta, Zion
Ivins, Utah, United States
30-day minimum. Please do not book with less than a 30-day stay. Sorry, no exceptions, due to our HOA.brbrNewly renovated, newly furnished home in the coveted Kayenta community. The house sits on a huge 3.5 acres site! Near Zion and Snow Canyon. But you don’t really need to go anywhere as it feels like we live in a National Park! It's magical walking at night, no lights but the moon and stars above. br brThis is not a typical vacation rental - it is furnished as our own home. New mattresses, high end bedding, gourmet kitchen, exercise equipment, original art. br brThis is ideal for a couple who may have visitors. There are three bedrooms: a master, an office, and a gym.brbrThe master bedroom has a King bed, updated walk-in shower, bidet, granite counter tops, and walk-in closet. brbrThe gym room has a new King Murphy bed, along with our exercise equipment. brbrThe third bedroom is our office, with an adjustable-height desk (stand or sit), a gorgeous, expansive view, soft rug, and fast internet. Plenty of office supplies, including a color printer. We have an air mattress that could be used in the office when you have extra guests.brbrThe kitchen is a major hang out area, with a HUGE beautiful granite island, next to a dining table and living room. But you might want to eat outside under the back patio or have drinks out on the front patio. It's a very well stocked kitchen.brbrWe have a TV in the living room with lots of streaming options, but you may find you aren't using it much. Night time walks are magical in Kayenta. There are restrictions on outdoor lighting, which means you will probably see more stars in the night sky than you have ever seen, including shooting stars. brbrYou are in the desert and will become keenly aware of the weather...not just the temperature, but the wind, the lightning and thunder, the sunsets and sunrises.brbrNeighborhood descriptionbrKayenta is nestled into the red rocks. The stillness of the rocks is palpable. Some say our red rocks are a vortex. Whatever your beliefs, you'll notice the peace and tranquility here.brbrThe most popular activity in Kayenta is walking...walking the streets, with or without dogs. You feel like you are in a National Park. It's also nice to bike through the community.brbrbrIn Kayenta's Art Village you'll find a performing Arts Center, art galleries, and one of the best restaurants/cafes in the area. Not far from the village, we have a labyrinth, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, and a community pool.brbrCheck out the Kayenta documentary online. This app won't let us put in the url, but it's easily found by searching on "Kayenta documentary." You'll learn some history about Kayenta, experiencing its visionary and beloved developer, and get a feel for the place.brbrThe Kayenta HOA has some strict rules about rentals (must be 30 days or more), blinds need to be down at night, and all cars must be parked in the garage, not the driveway. In other words, no cars in the driveway. We have a three-car garage and the maximum height is 82". All these rules are needed to keep Kayenta a special and beautiful community.brbrWe are engaged hosts and want to make sure you have a fabulous time in our home.brbrMinimum stay is 30 days, as required by HOA.
