The nice Villino Giardino di Mare surrounded by lush vegetation, is situated in La Trane, near the charming Saint Stephen Church that stands on a hill overlooking the fantastic view of Portoferraio bay and the Magazzini countryside. Saint Stephen Church is the only Romanesque church that is still open to worship. It is perfectly preserved after restoration and we strongly recommend you visit it. Our apartment is about 800 mt from the sea and it is surrounded by the Mediterranean vegetation, only a few miles from Portoferraio and Porto Azzurro. The closest beach is the Magazzini beach, right in front of Elba’s main city. From there, you can enjoy the beautiful Portoferraio skyline. The beach stretches for a few hundred meters from the Schiopperello/Le Prade beach. You can reach the small seaside Magazzini town walking on the shore, where vegetation goes all the way down to the beach and the sea. The beach is made up of pebbles and sand with a she seabed that slowly slopes down and it is covered by a prairie of Posidonia.
