For those more adventurous, the Garfagnana mountains beckon, an area of outstanding natural beauty and no more than 40 minutes drive away. During the summer, the beaches of Viareggio can be reached in approximately 30 minutes. Or simply chill out and spend the day strolling the historic walls and streets, or shopping in the Old Town, where you will find fantastic variety and value.
