It is set in a quiet location and has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a large private swimming pool. Its elevated position means it enjoys fantastic views over the surrounding countyside.brbrThe Space:brThis Tuscan farmhouse has recently been tastefully constructed so that it appears to have been built centuries again. The owner has sourced incredibly beautiful and original architectural features such as terracotta-tiled floors and beamed ceilings. brbrIt is part of a large 7-hectare farming estate comprising two independent villas, which are a short distance away from each other and it is surrounded by olive groves and woods. brbrOutside, there is a private infinity pool which is equipped with a safety alarm (16 x 8 metres and 1.4 metres in depth, open from mid April to the beginning of October each year) and an amphitheatre, which is under the pool area and contains a fitness room, dressing room and bathrooms with showers and WC. There is also a spacious solarium and a shaded barbecue area. brbrThe outside areas at this Tuscan farmhouse enjoy stunning views and guests can enjoy some fantastic sunsets from the covered seating area. Four mountain bikes are available for guests' use and there is parking for four cars in the grounds. brbrOn the ground floor of this Tuscan farmhouse there is a large 80-metre square living room with a beautiful fireplace dating back to the 16th century, a dining area with access to a covered terrace where there is a table that can seat 14, an open sitting room with a double sofa bed, a kitchen and laundry area. The 8 x 16 metre swimming pool, with a depth range of 1.35 to 2,50 metres, is reserved for Villa Monsummano guests only. It is an infinity pool with an expansive eight-person hydromassage area. There is a sizable changing area with two showers and a toilet beneath the pool.brThere's a big sunbathing area with sunbeds, tables, chairs, and umbrellas around the pool. The pool's cleaning system ensures optimal hygiene and gets rid of any potential problems brought on by the chloride. The swimming pool's automatic system keeps the chlorine and PH levels at the proper levels. A tranquil area with an antique marble table and stone chairs can be found further down the pool. Some of the more particular pieces are the beautiful doors of the walk-in wardrobes in two of the bedrooms, the wooden 17th century plaque from a Florentine convent above the door of the larger loungeroom. Two of the bedrooms have Empire wardrobes and chests of drawers.brbrThe owners' taste is eclectic and includes some pieces of Liberty period furniture, for example, the French mirror in the green bathroom and the Sicilian chest of drawers in the yellow bedroom. There are two chairs and a table from Puccini's villa at Torre del Lago, as well as a late Empire sideboard of Calabrese origin.brbrThere are many antique prints on the walls, including geographical maps of various countries, and in some of the bedrooms and lounge rooms there are chests of the C16th and C17th. Another remarkable piece is the billiard table, dating back to the early nineteen hundreds - in perfect condition. Many other pieces, more or less important, have all been chosen in the spirit of tracing our roots back to the past. Also in the garden one can find marble or stone capitals as well as old terrracotta Tuscan vases.brbrThe poolbrThe pool, 6x12mt. and depth of 1.35mt., is exclusive to the guests of Villa Roncovisi. There is also a WC and separate laundry room on this floor. The kitchen was newly refurbished in 2020 and is modern whilst in keeping with the traditional Tuscan style. It has been well equipped with all the mod cons you could need including a purified water tap with 3 buttons for natural water, natural cold water and sparkling cold water. brbrUpstairs, there are 7 bedrooms in this Tuscany villa with pool. Four of these are double rooms (one of which also has a spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine level with extra single bed), one is a triple room with three single beds, one is a twin room and one is a single room. The single bedroom has its own bathroom but situated on a different level whilst the triple and single bedroom share a bathroom. All the double bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. brbrThe interior decor within this Tuscany villa with pool is eclectic and tasteful. The owners have a passion for antiques and have furnished the villa with pieces acquired over the years from various antique dealers, auction sales or antique fairs. brbrOutside, there is a private infinity swimming pool with hydromassage area open from mid April to mid October each year (6 x 12 metres) which is positioned on a terrace just below the villa. There is a changing room with shower and WC nearby. Plenty of sun beds and parasols are provided creating a wonderful area to sunbathe. A gazebo provides shade near the pool whilst closer to the villa there is a covered pergola with large outdoor table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining. brbrThere are plenty of amenities to make a stay with young children that little bit more comfortable. Outside, there is a play area with swing and slide whilst the swimming pool is fitted with an alarm. We would still advise that adults keep an eye on children at all times. Baby equipment such as cots, highchairs and bottle steriliser are also all provided free of charge. For older children and adults, four mountain bikes are also provided for guests to enjoy during their stay at this Tuscany villa with pool.brbrThe Neighborhood:brThis Tuscany villa with pool is located in a relatively unexplored area of Tuscany, untouched by mass tourism and yet it is within easy reach of all of Tuscany's major landmarks. Monsummano Terme is just 2 km away and is the nearest town to the villa. It has a range of excellent facilities, restaurants and shops. Montecatini Terme is just 5 km away. brbrIt's a 50 minute journey by train to both Pisa and Florence. Much closer to home, within just 15-20 minutes drive, visitors can reach the Giusti Grottos with their hot thermal baths, the Monsummano quarries, the Pistoia hills and mountains (which offer skiing in the Winter months), the Svizzera Pesciatina, innumerable churches, the Fucecchio swamplands and many small typical Tuscan villages, such as Montevettolini, Larciano, Lamporecchio, Vinci (where Leonardo da Vinci was born), Montecatini Alto and Montecarlo. brbrPlease note that there are a number of additional charges to be payable locally during your stay at this Tuscany villa with pool.
