With stunning views down the Valdera valley, the prominent location of the villa has maintained a sense of timelessness, peace and tranquillity. It is an oasis of calmness and harmony in which to indulge yourself and relax, but yet it is only 40 minutes’ drive from Pisa airport.The villa is surrounded by fertile soil that produces a range of superior vegetables, fruits and wine. The nearby fields are host to vineyards, olive groves, fruit trees and cereals, whilst the wooded hills are home to the famous ‘Rivalto’ Chestnut along with a rich selection of flora and fauna. The nodding heads of large sunflowers fill some of the fields in July/August setting the landscape ablaze. The view from our terrace and woodland changes as the seasons change, being green and lush in spring through to a golden yellow in summer before becoming a sea of blazing red as the vines change colour in the autumn months.brbrEach apartment has its own private space with a table, chairs, umbrella and a BBQ. A large terrace surrounds the swimming pool which is for guests only. A sauna is located near to the house for guests to use. There is a wood burning Pizza oven that guests can use along with a dog agility park. Located just 3 kilometres from the charming village of Chianni the villa lies on extensive grounds and even has its own private waterfall, a 10-minute walk through woodlands. This stunning 5-bedroom villa offers the perfect blend of comfort and style, ideal for families or groups looking to create unforgettable memories.brbrThe cypress tree lined driveway sweeps down to the villa. The huge pool will be the first thing you see which is surrounded by well-kept lawns. The villa is built in classic Tuscan style and the owners have maintained the farmhouse feel whilst at the same time bringing it into the 21st century. Throughout the villa the original floors and ceilings have been maintained and modernised ensuring the villa has a genuine Tuscan feel.brbrAt the front there is a delightful area for dining altogether al fresco beneath ancient cypress trees overlooking the valley. This area also overlooks a wide lawn, where croquet or other games can be played or where evening cocktails can be enjoyed. To one end of this lawn lies the huge swimming pool (18m) which has sun loungers and a covered seating area. There is also a table tennis table by the pool, perfectly placed for a game followed by a cooling swim. The pool will for sure be a holiday hub, especially with its own special bar - Jojo's bar where you can prepare cocktails, soft drinks or pour yourself a beer.brbrThe property extends well beyond the house and pool, with 150 hectares of land to explore which back onto the Santa Luce Nature reserve. There are many places to explore throughout the gardens and olive groves with benches to sit and admire views and enjoy a book, including hammocks overlooking the lawn and a child's playhouse. Villa Volpe has it's very own waterfall. About a 10-minute walk challenging walk through the forest there is a 10-metre high waterfall with a delightful natural pool, not many properties can boast this! (please note that in the summer the waterfall can run dry). Mountain bikes are provided to enjoy the paths into the hills and nature reserve behind the property.brbrThe main entrance to the house is via the kitchen which has lovely arched windows and is light and airy. The kitchen has all mod cons. A long marble table lines one side of the room and there is plenty of workspaces for you to prepare a delicious meal for family and friends. At the far end of the kitchen there is a working pizza oven and barbecue area. From the kitchen, you move into the living room, the heart of the house and rather special. The previous owners worked in the film industry and hence this villa has a truly unique feature - a fully operational 16 seater cinema! Original cinema seats cover one side of the large room and the drop down screen and surround sound system will for sure prove to be a huge hit with everyone. There are a selection of DVDs and devices can be connected to stream direct to the cinema screen. To the other side of the living area, there is a comfortable seating area with two large settees offering views over the wooded valley.brbrSteps lead from the living area into the lower ground floor and here there is a fully stocked wine rack, full of local delights for your arrival and you are welcome to consume and pay upon departure for what you have enjoyed (prices displayed). In the Villa Rustica there are 4 rooms. The room Lavanda and Pervinca are located on the ground floor and each one has its own private entrance. Lavanda room is furnished with double bed, bathroom (WC / shower) and a well equipped kitchen corner; the family room Pervinca is furnished with a double bed and a Sofà bed for 2 people, a bathroom (WC / shower) and with a well equipped kitchen corner. At first floor are located 2 adjacent rooms (Mirto and Ciclamino) with shared private entrance. The Mirto room is furnishedwith a Sofà bed for 2 people (plus an extra Sofà bed for 1 on demand), with bathroom (WC / shower) and a well equipped kitchen corner; the room Mirto is connected through a corridor with the room Ciclamino which is furnished with canopy double bed and a bathroom (WC-shower). brFor married couples, single families or small groups it is possible to rent just one, two or three rooms. An generous breakfast with our organic agricultural products is possible on demand (price not included in the rent rate). Once per week mom Claudia cooks the typical Tuscan food for the guests on demand (price not included in the rent rate) .
