Great place with beautiful views and lovely host.

We had a 10/10 week in beautiful Toscana. We loved the stay. Claudia is a perfect host and and a lovely person. Thank you! The outdoor kitchen with indoor facilities were perfect since we did all our dishes there the whole week. Pool area is beautiful.

We staid at Poggio ai Lupi with our family to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Allthough the weather wasn't the weather you generally expect in Toscany, we had the time of our lives. The accommodation and the surrounding are phenomenal just like the hospitality of our host Claudia. We enjoyed the house, the visits to the beautiful cities in the area, cycling/mountainbiking and catching the 9 donkeys who escaped and bring them back to their meadow. It was a holiday we are never going to forget. Thank you Claudia and family!!!

Claudia was a wonderful host and she was helpful and her English is very good. When ever we had a question she was available but otherwise we didn’t she her. the place has 3 separate apartments each with cooking facilities, and a small outdoor door kitchen, where we prepared all our meals. A bigger indoor kitchen area would have been nice. The road into the house is approx 800 m of dirt road. If you are looking for a remote place with beautiful surroundings this is highly recommended

We were a group of 7 and rented all 4 rooms in the building. We loved the private, remote location and the outdoor areas - such as the covered seating area next to the grill and games on the lawn! The pool is huge and especially deep! Claudia takes great care of it (we could not find the special sun tan cream that she recommended - for some reason our normal sun tan lotions caused white swimming costumes to go yellow in places). Thankfully I read a review about the mosquitoes so we came well prepared with mozzie vapour devices for the rooms and insect repellent to spray on - even in the mornings! I missed noticing that there is no dishwasher available, but this at least gave the kids a learning opportunity! We can highly recommend the “Le Vecchie Cantine” restaurant in Chianni and ,if you want to go to the sea, the Spiagge Bianche beach near Vada is a great white beach to visit with lots of parking. I hired the whole villa for my family of 4 as we wanted privacy and that's exactly what we got. The villa is incredibly gorgeous, with everything you could possibly need, the views are spectacular and Claudia and Enrico are superb hosts. Claudia cooked an evening meal and breakfast for us when we arrived, we have not stopped talking about how delicious it was! I misunderstood the dynamics of the villa and didn't realise that my children (9 and 12yrs) would have their own apartment, with kitchen and their own front door key! My children were thrilled with this but I was apprehensive with them locking themselves in their rooms at night and me not being able to get in. Claudia quickly resolved this by getting me an extra set of keys cut to put my mind at ease! To be honest though, it was just me overreacting as the villa is extremely secluded and gated! The pool is simply fantastic, deep enough to dive in with plenty of loungers. We didn't leave the villa for days on end, it was a perfect way to relax. One thing that you must realise when booking this property is that it's deep in the countryside so you must expect lots of wildlife, which mostly for us was a delight with birds, lizards, deer, hedgehogs and donkeys but obviously lots of mosquitos. We were bitten quite a lot and Claudia gave us a mosquito net which did help. I would highly recommend you are prepared for this though. In the UK, when my children see a fly or bee in the garden, they go running inside, in Tuscany however there is no getting away from it and after a day or so I found them completely ignoring anything that flew their way! Definitely did them the world of good. I cannot recommend this villa enough, definitely our best holiday ever!!

An absolutely stunning property with gracious hosts. Centrally located within 35 minutes to the train station in Pontedera, and within 1 to 2 hours of Cinque Terre, Lucca, Volterra, Mediterranean beaches, and Florence. It is a beautiful spot!

Travelling as a party of 6 for my fathers 60th birthday, we all feel privileged to have been able to share this Tuscan paradise with Claudia and her husband, who were truly fantastic hosts. Wonderful views, food and great tips on things to do - we really didn't want to leave!!

Beautiful house and view. Hospitable and helpful. Comfortable and hot showers. WiFi in the common area (not in the rooms). Use google maps satellite to find. Laundry is available but not in the room. We stayed here with 2 kids and it was very family friendly. Claudia and Enriqo were wonderful!
