Second floor apartment with garden, panoramic view in the heart of Tuscany

We had the loveliest stay at this villa, the apartment was super clean, spacious and comfortable with some amazing views. The garden and pool area are so clean, tidy and absolutely stunning. The nearest town is quaint with some small shops and a couple of places to go out for food or drink. The ground floor apartment has a little outside table overlooking the view, we bought a takeaway pizza and had the most tranquil evening looking out over it. The host is very warm and friendly. We absolutely loved it!

The place was a bit hard to find, but once we got there: wow!! Very quiet place with an awesome view!! Laura was very nice to us. She gave us fruits (they were delicious!!) and also good advice for a place to eat. I recommend.

We stayed at this lovely appartment for 8 nights in May 2019 (3 adults + 2 kids). The appartment has recently been renovated and is completey furnished (washing machine, dishwasher, etc.). My kids loved playing football in the big garden, unfortunately it was too cold for the pool. Laura and Paolo are wonderful hosts, that really care about your well-being. Please be aware that La Pieve/Chianni is really remote but very centrally located in Tuscany. A car is definitely needed.

We stayed in the ground floor appartment for one week and had a perfect time! The view is magnificent and Laura and Paolo are very kind. Our children really loved the garden with the soccer field.

The owners were very welcoming and the apartment beautifully furnished. Covered patio and outside seating in the garden with wide views of the countryside and hill villages perfect to enjoy in all seasons. We loved exploring all the little hill villages nearby, a welcome change of pace after a busy week in Florence.

we enjoyed a wonderful holiday in the beautiful house of laura and paolo. The house fulfilled all our expectations: spacious, clean and everything needed for a great vacation. Laura and Paolo are very nice and helpful people. And the view from the terrace alone was worth the long trip. The beautiful cities of Lucca, Siena, Pisa, Florence; they are all easily accessible from Chianni. I would recommend anyone to spend their holidays here.

We had a lovely stay at the casa La Pieve. The house was lovely, clean and very well equiped.The view is really amazing at every time of the day. The swimming pool is very welcome and clean and gives al lot of refreshment and relaxing.The hospitality of Laura and Paolo was very welcome and warm although it is difficult to have an conversation because they speak less english.Toscany is a very beautiful region and you can go everywhere from this place. We stayed in this fabulous apartment for 11 days in April 2017. It is situated only 40 minutes drive from Pisa airport and easy to find with parking on site. We rented the two bedroom ground floor apartment in this three storey building in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The owners, Laura and Paolo, live on the top floor and are usually around should you need them. They also rent out the second floor apartment. Our apartment was very spacious, very clean and fresh looking. The kitchen was very well equipped and included cooker, very large fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. We hardly used any of these facilities except for making toast and cups of tea and a suggested welcome addition for us British clients would be an electric toaster and an electric kettle. There were plenty of towels supplied and also some toiletries. Lots of hot water at a good pressure was always available. The bathroom was plenty large enough with a good sized shower. There is central heating throughout which if required would incur an extra charge for the gas used. We just wanted a little heating in the living area to take off the chill and Paulo kindly supplied some logs and firelighters so we had a lovely open fire on several evenings. The rear of the property has an almost 180 degree view over the stunning countryside which can be viewed from either of the two French doors with balconies in the living room and one bedroom and from the extensive outdoor space. This apartment has a large covered terrace equipped with table and chairs and there are more chairs on the upper and lower lawned areas. The pool was not in use whilst we were there. The property is not isolated but whilst we were there we experienced very little traffic noise. There are a few neighbours, which do not intrude on your privacy, but you can expect to hear dogs barking and cockerels crowing, etc. Also there may be noise from people renting the second floor apartment above e.g. chairs scraping and footsteps on the tiled floors.... Laura and Paolo are delightful and generous hosts and whilst they are not fluent in English (as we are not in Italian), we managed to communicate sufficiently. They made us feel very welcome and kindly gave us gifts of homemade jam and home grown vegetables.

If you want to have paradise holiday, rent this apartment in La Pieve. We stayed there with our 2 kids and enjoyed every part of it. Unforgettable view, spacious rooms with great decor, perfect pool, meals on the terasse, 2 balconies, kitchen with all equipment, hospitable hosts who gave us home made olive oil and apricots from their garden. We could park our car beside the house and travelled all around Tuscany. Thermal bath with swimming pool 5 min by car in Caciana Terme, small shops including butchers in Chianni 5 min, large supermarket Conad in Capannina 15 min, Seaside is about 50min away (beach Vada), picturesque town S. Gimigiano cca 50 min, Livorno with superb aquarium for kids 45 min, Chianti region 90 min by car. There is also a bus stup in front of the house. We can highly reccomend this apartment! Myself, my wife and our 2 year old Jack had a fantastic week at these apartments in the Tuscan countryside. Our apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed and Laura and Paolo were very welcoming hosts. A car is essential due to the rural location but there some lovely towns to explore nearby and major cities and the coast are all within driving distance. We would highly recommend a stay here!
