Walk, jog, or bike the 5K loop through Bonnet past breathtaking views of the Ocean and Narragansett Bay. brbrKelly Beach is located 1 mile away from the house (about a 20 min walk or quick bike ride). A short board walk leads to a lovely private beach with beautiful views. There are no amenities at Kelly Beach and no public parking. Drop off is allowed, and a bike rack is available. This keeps the beach less crowded as it is only available to Bonnet Shores Residents and Guests. A complementary beach bike is available to guests for easy beach access, drop off and pick up, and a bike rental shop is located just minutes away. Beach Shuttle service is available on weekends in July and August and picks up/drops off by the mailbox at the house. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer. brbrAll necessities are located a short drive down 1-A or 1 including a supermarket, pharmacy, coffee and breakfast, restaurants, movie theater, DVD rentals, bike rentals, and seafood market.brbrA short drive south leads to the Narragansett State beaches, the landmark Towers and sea wall, a vibrant downtown, and the active fishing port of Point Judith where you can purchase fresh seafood right from the docks or catch the ferry to Block Island. Downstairs is the largest bedroom with its own sitting area, bathroom with washer/dryer, and sliding doors directly to the backyard. There is plenty of space for a multi-generational family vacation or group get together!brFrom the house it is a 15-20 minute walk to our neighborhood Kelly Beach, and four additional gorgeous beaches are just 5-15 minutes away by car. Each bedroom and the living room has wall-mounted large, flat screen TVs, each with access to streaming services and cable in the summer. The living room also has a DVD player (we have a selection or BYO!). The house also has high speed wifi. Please note: we do not provide linens (sheets and towels) with our rental, but can be available to rent for an additional fee. Please contact me if you are interested. brbrOur recently renovated kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities! It has a full sized refrigerator, gas stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and blender. It also has plenty of pots and pans, serving dishes, various kitchen utensils, as well as dishes and silverware. brbrThe bathroom has a full sized shower and full tub and houses the full sized washer and dryer. We provide laundry detergent, but ask that you not use fabric softener in the washer or dryer sheets in the dryer. brbrWe supply ALL paper products for your entire stay (not just a starter kit) and also leave a selection of pantry staples like oil, salt/pepper and some common spices. brbrOur house is great for families! It's located close to a neighborhood playground, tennis and basketball courts and a baseball field. We provide kid-friendly games and toys for your use during your stay. We are just a short walk or quick drive to Scarborough State Beach, a short drive to the kid/family friendly Roger Wheeler State Beach or Narragansett Town Beach. Consider purchasing a state beach parking pass that can be used at all brbrThe house has central A/C for your sleeping comfort after a hot day at the beach. There's a great backyard for kids to play while you cook dinner or grill on the backyard gas BBQ grill. The deck has a table, chairs and a large umbrella for relaxing.
