Absolutely NO parties, fireworks, outdoor speakers, or outdoor burning from 8 AM-6 PM. Violations may result in a $250 fine or eviction.brParking:br• The cottage is located at #1 down the hill; do NOT drive into the left-hand neighbor's property. It is advisable to park on the hill unless you have an all-wheel-drive vehicle. Weather conditions can affect the stability of the gravel driveway.brLake Etiquette:br• Review Oxbow’s ‘Lake Etiquette’.brPet Policy:br• This cottage is dog-friendly with prior authorization and a fee of $50 per dog. Bring your own additional supplies.brGarbage and Recycling:br• Do not litter in the water or on land. Avoid bathing or shampooing in the lake.br• Seal garbage to reduce odors and store it indoors until disposal. Dispose of garbage at the Sinclair Transfer Station (1931 Limberlost Rd, Huntsville, ON). Hang up paddles and lifejackets in the storage room.br• Maintain a life jacket for each person on board, following the law. Bring personal life jackets for younger kids and babies as the provided ones may not fit.brSafety and Cleanliness:br• Never leave young children unsupervised while swimming.br• Conserve energy by turning off unnecessary lights and electronics.br• Avoid leaving valuables outside overnight to prevent theft or wildlife attraction.br• Clean the beach and property before leaving. Report any damages immediately.brFire Safety:br• No campfires during the daytime (8 AM-6 PM). Ensure fires are completely extinguished before leaving them unattended. Follow all fire rules and respect Total Fire Bans.brSmoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors:br• Do not tamper with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. A $50 penalty applies for disabling detectors. The easy access to Mary Lake allows for some beautiful morning sunrise dates and impromptu picnics. Arrowhead provincial park is a 20 min drive away to allow for more activities and water activities.brbrCar parking is found within the premises, areas are marked for easy navigation. Car rental services are available throughout Huntsville if you are looking to get around further.brbrOur entire property is under surveillance outdoors (no cameras indoors or facing indoors), which can allow for a more safer and secure experience for our guests. Driveways are not made of the same material as roads in our case and most cases and hence the same method as one uses to clean a road does not apply. brbrGuests will have to shovel the staircases while they are staying there as the company only comes when a certain amount of snow has collected and focuses mainly on the driveway. We do provide shovelled staircases during checkin. SHOVEL is provided.brbrOnly 4 bath towels will be provided during the stay.
