The boathouse is just a few steps away from the main cottage via a deck walkway and a few stairs down and features two bedrooms and a lovely waterfront deck with Muskoka chairs and space for yoga. The boathouse has a Keurig coffee maker for easy access to your morning brew. The boathouse also has a separate Wifi network and fold-up table to provide the option of a private office. There is also a door separating each room in the boathouse and each room has its own entrance door from the upper deck for added privacy. The water level of the boathouse has two single kayaks, one tandem kayak, two paddle boards, life jackets and a swimming raft. The cottage is located just minutes from all the great Muskoka shops and restaurants. Take an afternoon or dinner cruise on one of the Muskoka steamships from Gravenhurst Wharf. Great golf and hiking nearby. All bed linens and towels provided. We are looking for responsible, non-smoking renters who want to enjoy some quality time in Muskoka. For rent is our beloved cottage on Boyd Island, Kahshe Lake, Kilworthy, ON. This is a boat access cottage. brbrThe cottage is perched approximately 40 ft up and over the water with AMAZING sunsets each night. There is a small island out front of the cottage that protects swimmers from passing boats! It's great a fishing spot or swim to it and explore.brbrIt is a three bedroom cottage with a futon in the living room. It comfortably sleeps 7**. There is a full bathroom with shower, new vanity and an enviro-toilet that works like a charm. For those who like to 'rough it' there is a functioning outhouse out back with a great view into the surrounding bush. brbrThe cottage has an open concept kitchen and living room with 20ft cathedral ceilings. There is a t.v. available and a bell satellite dish available for you to hook up your box to.brbrThe cottage has both charcoal and propane BBQ! You MUST bring your propane tank and/or charcoal!brbrThe cottage water is pumped from the lake. It is great for washing dishes and showering, but not for drinking. Renters must bring their own drinking water.brbrThere is a fire pit with a view of the water.brbrDue to Covid-19, we now require renters to bring their own bed sheets.
