You can walk to Walnut Beach from the house by going down the sidewalk toward the entrance. There is a large public parking lot that is located closer to the beach so it would be much easier to drive and park there if you are taking a lot of things with you to the beach. At the bottom of the hill behind the house, there is a drinking water treatment facility that does not obstruct the view of the lake. It is a quiet and odorless facility.
