Eagle River Retreat~hot tub~riverfront!

This was our second time staying here and honestly it is BREATHTAKING. The hosts are absolutely amazing and so accommodating and responsive. It is now a family favorite and we will be coming back again and again!!!! I only wish we knew about this place sooner!!

We stayed for a meet at Spire. The house and setting on the river is beautiful and the hosts were excellent. Looking forward to next year!

We had a good stay! Overall we had a good time except for a few things. Firstly the sheets in 2 bedrooms were soiled and not fresh sheets. The sheets hadn’t been changed from the previous guests stay. Secondly, the refrigerator both inside and out was dirty and we had to clean it both inside and out before putting our groceries in. And lastly the kitchen exhaust wouldn’t work which made the whole house smell of food when we cooked. There was a bit much dust on the fans and furniture too. We would definitely go back, if these issues are addressed. The view is awesome and in general the place is clean with the hot tub being very clean along with the bathrooms and dishes in the kitchen. We expected to use the gas fire pit outside but there was no full gas cylinders in the fire pit which is something that’s advertised and hence expected. We loved the property and would love to return.

This property was great. The hosts are great and very welcoming and the communication was never lacking.

It’s a beautiful cabin! The view and the details!! Súper confortable, we had everything that we needed.

The pictures don't do this property justice. We have stayed all over the country and nothing compares to the hospitality, amenities, quality and beauty of this place. It is truly a destination in itself. It is family and pet friendly, and you have everything you could ever need all in the unit. Not only do the owners take impeccable care of the property and cleanliness is 10/10, but their attention to detail in the quailty of the set up, furniture and decor is VERY impressive. The are friendly, good people who love to share their oaisis of beauty with others. Whether youre into taking hikes and take a short walk down to their waterfall (which has picnic benches and a firepit) or park, or utilize their outlook to view the beautiful river, or want to stay close to home and party in the hottub, sing karaoke, cook a nice meal on the grill or use the full kitchen this place seriously has it all. We already booked our next stay and ive never written a nicer review. You will NOT be disappointed.

This is such a cute house. Very homey and comfortable. Great views off the deck and central to a lot of hiking and points of interest. The owners dogs made me feel at home. I took my dogs with us. They had a great time hiking. Who knew there was so much beauty near Ashtabula! Would recommend.

Beautiful accommodations with roomy outdoor seating along with a great hot tub in a serene setting. Owners very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful stay.

We greatly enjoyed our time in the lodge, which was spacious, homely, and fully accommodating. The hot tub, cornhole, and river/nature proximity were especially enjoyable. Bill and Rachel were very friendly and communicative. We'll be back!

The property is exquisite! Wished had more time there. Had everything you need and my family thoroughly enjoyed it.

Arrival was super easy! The host was amazing, was able to answer all my questions, and very helpful with things around the area! House is even better in person than the photos showed. Most everything you could need for cooking and cleaning was there! Beds are soft and comfortable! Even had disco lights and a karaoke machine! Would love to stay here again!

The property was exceptional. The host/hostess have many outdoor activity supplies available for guest to use. The river is amazing, everyone caught fish! We saw eagles, had campfires, relaxed in the hot tub. The home is secluded with nature and peacefulness, yet is accessible to shops and restaurants only a few miles away. The property owners were very pleasant to work with. I’ll give Eagle River House 100 Stars !!!!

Eagle River House did what many properties can’t: Be even better than promised in the pictures. The property is stunning, with gorgeous views of the Ashtabula River from the high-on-a-cliff deck overlook. We enjoyed sipping morning coffee and evening wine with that view. And yes, we saw the bald eagle and great blue heron living their best lives from our perch above the river. The inside of the rental is spacious and stylish, with tons of perfect touches throughout. You won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely a hidden Treasure. This is a 5 star property. My family enjoyed everything about it. All the amenities that it offers and the natural beauty of the river makes this property special. Bill and Rachel are the perfect host.
