You may also choose to just unwind, read, have conversations with friends and family, paint or sketch, watch the nesting birds or enjoy the expansive rural views from the comfortable and well appointed cottage. Whether you are visiting for Wine and food weekend, the field days, visiting the vibrant town of Orange , exploring the district or just a relaxing stay in the country, Albens cottage is a ideal for you.brbrFrom the cottage are wonderful expansive views and over 25 species of birds have been seen on the farm, many nesting in the stand of Albens eucalypts adjacent to the house. Sunsets and the night sky are spectacular.brbrThe comfortable 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 4 people . The kitchen is fully equipped and a large dining table is in the open plan living area. A slow combustion fire can be lit to warm the cottage and provides a wonderful ambiance. There is a wood pile near the door for your use. The terrace provides a great place to sit and admire the views for sunset drinks, sampling your newly purchased local wines.brbrThere is much wildlife near the cottage. You are most likely to see kangaroos grazing and might be lucky enough to see the echidna wondering by. You will see many parrots and other birds.brThere is a welcome basket with breakfast items including cereal, fruit, tea, coffee and milk.brThe cottage is fully equipped and all linen and towels are provided. You can prepare your own meals, go out to one of the fabulous cafes and restaurants in Orange or bring in your takeaway. brbrWe have just redone our driveway so it is now all weather and is suitable for all vehicles.
