The unit is located on the West side of the building overlooking the Bay / Sound / City of Brigantine but has outstanding Ocean Views.brbrSTAIRS / ACCESSIBILITY:brbrThere are some stairs to enter and exit the main building, but while this unit is located on the 10th floor, there are no steps inside to your unit, and the building has elevators to reach all the higher floors.brbrBUILDING / UNIT INTERIORS:brbrThis property was originally constructed in 1927. According to local lore the Inn was frequented by Al Jolson and Al Capone and various other mob bosses and figures that preferred this location over Atlantic City.brbrOver the years ownership was transferred to various entities, and today the Brigantine Inn is run by Legacy Vacation Club Resorts, who have tried to retain the essence and some of the design elements found in the original construction.brbrWhile you will find most unit interiors are clean and comfortable, they are a bit plain and a little dated. These units definitely have more of a rustic feel with older furnishings, comfortable but not luxurious. I'm not saying that to be negative, I'm just trying to help level set realistic expectations about what to expect. Having said that we enjoy our visits here, and this doesn't detract from our personal experience because the location can't be beat. Hopefully the photos provided give you a general understanding for what I am describing.brbrThe benefits offered by staying at this resort are...brbr1. The fantastic beach in front of the property, only a short walk from your unit. You will not find the beach here as crowded as other locations on the Jersey Shore, which makes this a great location for a beach vacation.brbr2. Overall amenities (indoor pool, along with onsite LaScala's Beach House where you can enjoy a beverage, meal, and live music sitting beachfront, etc,.)brbr3. The price. This is a very economical way to enjoy staying at an oceanfront property in New Jersey during a prime summer week, offering you more size and features (including a Full Kitchen) than a traditional hotel room elsewhere.brbrMany families enjoy their annual vacations at this property, however if you are a traveler that requires luxury accommodations, this may not be the right choice for you. If you have any specific questions on this please don't hesitate to ask.brbrGUEST ACCESSbrbrThis is a Resort Hotel property, so your unit will be private, but Amenities (Pools, Sun Deck, Beach, Game Room, etc) will be shared with other guests.brbrOTHER THINGS TO NOTEbrbr- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket.brbr- If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed.brbr- Utensils, Dishes, and some basic Pots and Pans are provided. If something appears to be missing, you can contact the Front Desk and possibly get it dropped off (if they have it). However, if you plan on cooking a lot of meals inside your unit, or plan any special dishes, I do recommend bringing your favorite Large Frying pan (or Large Sauté Pan, Wok, Crockpot, etc, etc) for cooking. This way you will have something you are comfortable using and you will know exactly how things will cook in it. You may also want to bring your favorite Kitchen knife(s) for food prep.brbr- Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis.brbrIf your family owns and likes larger Beach towels, I recommend bringing them, along with any other Beach Blankets / Chairs / Umbrellas / Beach equipment you want at the Beach. If you don’t bring your own Beach Chairs, Umbrellas, Equipment, etc. you can rent the equipment in the area.brbr- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However, there are Washers and Dryers available at onsite Laundry facilities. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay, it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the resort Front Desk.brbr- There is no outdoor furniture on the deck. So if you don't want to use your beach chairs on the outdoor deck, I recommend taking some folding camp chairs. We take ours and they work great for setting up outside on the large outdoor balcony.brbr- Pet Friendly (Smaller Dogs Only): You can bring your dog for an extra Pet fee of $150-$250 per week. This additional fee would be paid directly at the Front Desk during Check In / Check Out. This fee is not paid to the Owner or AirBnb.
