You will receive the code one week prior to your stay. Additional measures are in place to ensure you are never locked out. br-The house is a spacious three levels, which requires climbing a set of stairs up or down to all bedrooms and showers. No bedrooms or showers on the main level. br-The beach is 40 yards from the home at a slope greater than meets accessible standards. Guests with mobility issues may have trouble getting to the beach without assistance. br-There is no cable TV but the house is equipped with smart TVs which provide ROKU channels and allow guests to sign into their favorite streaming services. br-Due to the complexity of the double wood fireplace, guests are not allowed to operate them. You are sure to find the home warm and cozy despite this. br-Our house is very kid-friendly. Use of the stair gates, bed rails, pack-n-play, highchair and toys can be used at guest discretion. 10 days only. Only our vacation out of the mainland US to celebrate our kids college graduations makes our special getaway possible during the best month of the year in famous Northern Minnesota. Our five bedroom modern rustic cabin/lake home has it all. Fieldstone fireplace, open floor plan, end to end spacious deck overlooking the lake and firepit area with masses of hummingbirds zooming over head- they even land on you once they get to know you! Our place is set up for family or couples/friends. Two living areas, three full bathrooms, a loft overlooking the massive great room living space overlooking the lake. board games, xbox 360 with game pass, professional dart board. ping pong, yard games, basketball hoop, cones for soccer, a brand new finnish sauna overlooking the lake with a cold therapeutic shower or easy to jump in the lake. The lake has the most perfect shoreline- soft sand, no weeds, no gunk, shallow gently getting deeper as you head beyond the dock. we have two paddleboards, two kayaks, a canoe, tons of fun towables if you have your own boat, sand toys, nets for catching minnows, a perfectly configured dock for sunning, fishing, etc. we have a lilypad, an otter island diving raft and plenty of space if you want to tie up your own boat. Our lake oasis is private with 300' of lakeshore and woods all around. we have a perfect firepit with andirondak chairs for adults and kids. Hot dog and ,marshmallow roasting sticks, a nice gas BBq grill and a charcoal grill too. The bedding is three queens, one bunk, two twins and a pullout. perfect sunsets every night. just 12 miles north of grand rapids- the perfect northern minnesota town with museums, breweries, art galleries, great shopping, wonderful restaurants and home of the renowned Mesabi Bike trail where you can bike from Grand Rapids all the way to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area on the most beautiful off road paved trail.

Little Trout Lake Cabin on the pristine Wabana Chain: Views, Wooded, Bunkhouse

Four wooded acres of secluded family-friendly cabin life on the pristine Wabana Chain of Lakes. Two bedrooms/two bathrooms with sleeping for six in the main cabin. Seasonal bunkhouse sleeps an additional six. Moderate elevation down to 300ft of lakeshore on peaceful, quiet and clear Little Trout Lake. Fishing and swimming off of the dock. Boaters and paddlers have access to the 4400 acre Wabana Chain of Lakes. (Tandem kayak , Canoe, and Paddleboard provided.) Nature lovers have access to miles of hiking/biking/running trails. Trailhead to Trout Lake SNA/historic Joyce Estate is 1 mile from cabin. brbrBuilt in 1972, the cabin sits on a small clearing at the top of a ridge overlooking Little Trout Lake. It has two bedrooms (both with queen beds) and a sofa sleeper and futon in the living room. All linens, kitchen and bath towels are provided. (Bring your own beach towels.) The cabin has two bathrooms, a full bath on the main level and a three-quarters located in the unfinished basement. (Please note that stairs to basement are a little steep.) The chain is known for its crystal-clear spring fed waters, fishing and water sports. Over half of the chain is located in the Chippewa National Forest and remains undeveloped. The cabin is between Wabana and Trout Lakes, offering seclusion with the ease of boating via channels to the larger lakes, including Bluewater. The property is available to rent the last week in May through the first week in September.
