It was built in 1978 on property that has been family owned since 1972. In 1988, the decision was made to expand and add on an addition, which gave the family 500 more square feet of room to rest and relax! As the family continues to grow, we have become thankful for the additional space.brbrThis 1320 square feet cabin features two bedrooms, one bath, and a sleeping loft. All together with the available space and number of beds, it can sleep eight people comfortably. As our family can testify, it can also accommodate for a multi-family vacation. brbrThe first living area is an open space with high ceilings featuring a gas fireplace and a variety of seating options. The living area that the addition provides features a wood burning stove, TV with a DVD and VHS player, couch, futon, recliner chair, rocker chair, and a dining room table that easily seats 6 adults.brbrThe first bedroom on the main level has a queen bed. The second bedroom has both a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. More sleeping space will be found in the loft with two twin beds and two additional twin mattresses that are on the floor. As previously mentioned, there is also a full-size futon available in the addition. There is one bathroom on the main level with only a shower, no bathtub.brbrWe have a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of utensils and appliances for your baking or cooking needs. Cabin on great swimming and fishing lake in Bowstring, Minnesota. Little Jessie Lake has walleye, pike, panfish and many other species. Cabin has two small bedrooms, a living room with futon and TV (dvd). In the kitchen, there is a microwave, tabletop airfyer/oven combo, dual hot-plate, electric skillet, coffee pot, fridge/freezer, crockpot, and basic utensils/dishes. There is a bathroom with stand-up shower. It’s a wonderful spot for swimming and water-sports. The lake is clear with a sandy bottom and is shallow for at least a few hundred feet until the lake drop off. It does include fire pit and an occasionally shared dock and WIFI. There is a convenience store (bait, fuel, and basic groceries), restaurants, and great four wheeling trails very close by. The cabin does not have heating so plan accordingly for early spring and fall stays. There’s fans available in cabin for hot days. The lake water level is low so large boats may not be able to dock and may need to be anchored in deeper water.

There is an artesian well with fresh running water 24/7 right in front of of the porch that was put in place in the 1930s which runs down the lake shore and into the lake. It is about 20 steps to the main fishing pier which extends 150` into the lake. Comes with a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, 1.5 baths, full bath has a shower/tub, 6 twin beds and one futon.
