The wood stove will be your friend during cold winter days/nights and there's also a propane wall heater in place on the main level! There's a lot to love about the lakeshore location. The cabin sits along a quiet, very private stretch of shoreline and Devil Track Lake is a nice fishing and recreation lake, yet still very much a lake for paddlers and wilderness lovers, too. Get ready for peaceful, starry-skied nights, hikes, skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, swimming, paddling and relaxing!!brbrPLEASE NOTE: ADVENTURE AWAITS IF YOU ARE OKAY WITH A ROUGHER ROAD/DRIVE INTO THIS GORGEOUS CABIN AND SETTING. Croftville Road intersects Eve's Place between the beach access and Cabin 3 and the narrow road is a wonderful, quiet road for walking and biking. The average speed on the road is under 20mph, as people are here to take in the beauty of this winding, narrow road along the rugged North Shore./em/strong/pbrbrpstrongemOriginally built in the 1930s, Cabin 3 has had significant updates. This darling little cabin (at just 332 square feet) is ideal for two adults and two small children or perhaps three adults, if you like to be cozy. There are two bedrooms, each bedroom separated from the main room by curtains. The larger bedroom has a queen bed and the smaller bedroom a full bed. The bedrooms are too tight to fit a Pak N Play. There are no closets, but each bedroom has a small dresser and hooks with hangers are located on the walls for your clothes. Between the two bedrooms is the updated bathroom with a ceramic tile and glass shower and plenty of towels. All the linens and towels are professionally cleaned for each guest. Even though the fire ring sits closer to the road, you feel removed with the perfect placement of some lovely pine trees and the ever-present views of the Lake. In the evening, build a wood fire and make S’Mores with the provided marshmallow forks. You also have your own charcoal kettle grill with grilling tools if you wish to grill a meal. You can eat inside at the table, around the fire ring in the Adirondacks or at the picnic table. On a clear night there are always uncountable stars and, if you’re lucky, you may witness the amazing Northern Lights./em/strong/pbrbrpstrongemJust across Croftville Road from Cabin 3 are the wooden steps down to the cobblestone and pebble beach exclusively for guests of Eve’s Place. Much of the North Shore of Lake Superior is cliff or ledge rock, with occasional small beaches like at Eve’s Place. Head to the beach to skip flat stones, hunt for elusive agates, or simply sit and watch the waves and clouds. There’s no need for an agenda at the beach./em/strong/pbrbrpstrongemYou can take a short drive into the town of Grand Marias, America's Coolest Small Town, to enjoy all of the shops and restaurants, or plan a day hike/bike on the never-ending trails nearby. Or simply read a book while taking in the sights and sounds of this majestic lake. One upgrade we can't do, is make the spaces bigger. The bathrooms may be tight for you. And if you're over 6'2, you'll have to bend down a bit going through the doorways, and standing in the shower. So please consider this before booking. We don't want you to be disappointed with these tiny cottages due to their size. Cabin 1 is cherished by many, as your views of the lake don't get much better than this. Nestled right along the lakeshore above Lake Superior, Cabin 1 is one of the four unique tiny house cottages of the resort, located just steps away from the resort's private access to the shared 200 feet of pebble beach on Lake Superior. Known by locals as the walking road, Croftville Road is a wonderful, quiet road frequented by walkers and bikers. The average speed on the road is under 20mph, as people are here to take in the beauty of this winding, narrow road along the rugged North Shore./strong/em/pbrbrpemstrongCabin 1 has one small bedroom with a comfy full bed. There's no room for a closet, but hooks on the wall and a dresser will accommodate your belongings. The cozy front sitting room of Cabin 1 sits right on the water’s edge. You’ll feel as if you're on a boat while relaxing on the double sleeper sofa. If the waves aren't enough for you to listen to, you will also find a Smart TV for your streaming services in the sitting room, plus WIFI throughout the cabin. Please make sure to note that there is no Cable or direct TV. If you intend to watch TV, you must bring your own streaming passcodes. The bedroom and front room are separated from the other rooms by curtains. Tucked between the bedroom and the front room is the updated bathroom that has a ceramic tile and glass shower with plenty of towels. All the linens and towels are professionally cleaned for each guest. There is a small kitchen with everything you need to make your cabin meal: refrigerator, small electric cooktop/stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cookware and all the kitchen gadgets you should need for your stay as well as a table with seating for two. There’s a heater in the main room to keep the cabin comfortable on cool evenings. Or enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the serene snow-covered landscape against the crashing winter of waves of Superior.
