New Downtown Apartment. Walk Everywhere, Rest Comfortably

Great location in 2 min walk to the harbor, main street, and all the best shops, galleries, and restaurants. The apartment is very convenient and comfortable. Recently updated. Fully stocked kitchen. Lots of free parking. We are looking forward to staying here again.

A quiet, convenient and very clean well kept property to spend a couple of nights in Grand Marais. Highly recommend for a comfortable visit.

My family (we have a 6 and 8 yo) and I had an excellent stay and couldn’t have asked for a better location. Grand Marais is a gem and this place allowed us to be comfortable and well rested for a long weekend of adventuring.

The unit was as described - we were taking a two day class at the North House Folk School so the location was ideal - walking distance to the school and actually to many places in Grand Marais.

Great little property, central to downtown. Love, love, love the bed! So soft and comfy! As others have suggested, get some blinds for the door window. We put up a towel which worked just fine. Thanks for having us!

Nice, updated place! Not huge, but good for a few nights which is all we needed. Good size kitchen space with full size fridge/freezer which was helpful. Cleaning could have been a little bit more detailed, but overall was good. Had everything we needed!

Host was very easy to get in touch with. I had misplaced our welcome information with direction and door code. Messaged the host who immediately responded, resent the information and then he also went to the apartment and turned on the outside light and an indoor light for us. Super cute and clean. Was perfect for our quick night in Grand Marais while touring the North Shore.

Just basic, lack a homey feeling, put some pics on the wall. Poor heating adj instructions.

Great location. The place was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. We only stayed one night, but it was just what we needed.

Bathroom door does not close properly, bathroom soap dispenser was almost empty. Dust on the legs of the coffee table, and the recliner wont stay back in the reclined position. Coffee pot was supplied but no coffee to be found in the morning.

This unit was larger than most one bedrooms I have stayed in. The kitchen and eating area would rather large and had everything supplied. Not that we really used any of it but good to know for future reference.Stellar location, we were able to walk around and see the charming town of Grand Marais.

Excellent location, yet yard space and privacy from neighboring home. Proximity to restaurants, groceries, shops and lakefront.

The property was so close to the lakefront and restaurants. Ben, the property owner, was very responsive with communication and check out requests. We would definitely stay here again. A couple of small things I would suggest are more hangers in the closets and a roll of paper towels for the kitchen for wiping down the counters. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved the location of this very clean apartment. There was plenty of room for an adult and two teenagers and there was even an outdoor seating area with a fire pit. Communication with the owner was easy and we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back!

We could have used more kitchen towels and we were out of soap in shower! Otherwise it was clean and would stay again!

I was pleased with the location and the daily rental price. My two suggestions: put a certain on the front door and provide proper dish clothes.

I enjoyed staying here because the location was great for me. I was taking a class at the Grand Marais Art Colony, and all I had to do was walk down the block to get there. The apartment is clean and comfortable, but there was a window on the front door that had no curtain on it, and it was very uncomfortable in the evenings. I finally hung a towel from some clips over the window.

Fantastic location right in Grand Marais. Cute apartment with everything you need. It’s clean and well furnished, and the owner is very friendly way to communicate with. Had a great weekend chasing waterfalls with my son!

The location was definitely the selling point. For a stay in Grand Marais we never had to drive anywhere. The house could be better stocked with general necessities but nothing that was critical. There was hand and dish soap but no shampoo/cond/shower soap. The unit could use a deep cleaning but overall was acceptable. Host was very responsive. Neighbors friendly. I would definitely stay here again but some small improvements would make a big difference!
