Cozy 1950’s lake front cabin with beautiful sunsets!

No ac shower had no water pressure

We returned for our second visit to this cabin, and it was exactly how we left it (still perfect!). We had great weather all weekend - the lake was glass each morning and evening, so breathtaking! We spent most of our time kayaking, fishing, and sitting in chairs out in the water. The fire pit was stocked and ready for our arrival, and anything else we needed could be found at the Bowstring store. We did venture out to Riley's Cannibal Junction, Hayslips Corner, and played a few rounds at Blueberry Hills Golf Course - a well-kept, relaxing course to play! Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us!

This was the perfect lake stay. We were able to completely disconnect, spend our day in the water and on the dock, grill in the evening, and star gaze at night. The bonus was the adorable, sweet outdoor cat that greeted us on arrival and kept us company down at the dock. I cannot recommend this rental enough.

The cabin was well kept and a comfortable stay. The family enjoyed the sandy beach, clear water, and great fishing for the kids. We hope to be back in the future.

Lovely cabin, peaceful stay just like we had hoped.

I haven’t been this far up north in a while so it was nice to experience each little town on the way up. Once my friend and I got there I noticed how peaceful and quiet the surroundings were. It was definitely a great place to spend a weekend enjoying the connections with friends and nature.

Met the needs we were looking for! Well suppled. Nice touch with a welcoming gift!

Andy’s cabin was exactly what we were looking for in a short getaway. Quiet and private, perfect cabin and lake property to unwind and relax. We really enjoyed the accommodations and our stay here, recommend it for sure.

I didn’t know what to expect. The pictures of the cabin do not do it justice and the shower was great! Also first time I’ve ever used an attic fan and worked great.

We love this place It was spotless, we have so much fun at the lake. The cabin is very nice well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Excellent communication- very clear and easy check in and check out information. We hope to stay again!

It is a nice rustic cabin to stay in, but it has the amenities you need, including good Wi-Fi - as long as a teenager doesn't unplug the router to plug in a fan. We used it as a base camp to fish area lakes, but it would be a good place to take a smaller outdoor oriented family. There's a lot of yard and a really nice lake with very nice sandy bottom and relatively good fishing.

We loved our stay in this cabin! My grandparents owned a nearby resort years ago, and our stay brought back good memories of years long past. We had one very hot day—the lake felt great but the cabin got toasty! Thankfully there were fans and the temps came down overnight. The rest of our stay was perfect and peaceful. While the cabin was from the 50’s era, the modern amenities were much appreciated. The lake was quite shallow, so we as adults couldn’t easily swim, but the water lounge chair and swim noodles we brought with us made the lake time fun. Definitely would recommend this place for a summer getaway!

Cozy, clean and quiet. The lake is absolutely gorgeous. Clear sandy bottom and shallow along the shoreline. We enjoyed kayaking and even caught a few sunnies! We made most of our meals at the cabin but did venture out to Riley's Cannibal Junction for a couple of awesome burgers and a quick stop at Hayslips Corner just down the road. There's also a great little store within walking distance from the cabin with almost everything you could ever need. Thank you for sharing this wonderful cabin with us. We made memories we won't soon forget!

Such a great weekend! So quiet and peaceful. The cottage was clean and even better than described. The lake is beautiful, with a sandy bottom, and shallow enough to wade out a few hundred feet and only be waist deep. We caught a handful of nice smallies wading out and casting into some grass. We’re definitely going back.

Awsome little cabin. We stayed for 5 days and was well worth it. Cute little cabin plus the neighbors cat was good company!.

We had a wonderful stay at this little cabin. Our family of 5 - (kids 10,7 & 4) had a perfect time playing in the lake. The lake is great for young kids as it is sandy and shallow. Andy & Jada were very accommodating hosts. They were quick to respond and so kind for answering all of our questions and being flexible. We would definitely return!

We had a great stay with our family! Nice little cabin with everything we needed! The lake was wonderful, and the kids enjoyed the space to play in the yard and the lake. Owners were quick to respond to any questions and helpful! We would stay there again!

We had a fantastic stay at this cute little rustic cabin. If you are looking for a place to get an old school cabin vacation in for a small family or couple, this is it. The cabin was just large enough for my husband and our 7 year old. The best part is the shallow, sandy swimming area just off the dock. It's perfect for families with little kids as it is shallow for quite a ways out. We spent a lot of time in the water. We also appreciated the Roku/wifi access for the rainy days. Cell service isn't great, so wifi was essential. Next time we will pack some kids DVDs as a back up. I would suggest adding some privacy curtains for the bedrooms as neighbors did walk by, but otherwise everything was great. We will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this cute lil cabin. Even though we live in the area we wanted a getaway on a quiet lake to enjoy some boating, fishing and swimming and thats just what we got! Great trails to ride ATVs. The cabin reminded me of my grandparents cabin on the lake when I was little. The hosts were great with communicating! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet and serene area!

We visited for a quick two day getaway. The cabin was perfectly described, very clean and had a welcome note with treats for the kids. The lake and land are clean and gorgeous. It was cooler weather a space heater was provided along with extra bedding to stay warm. You get the feeling that they really care about your stay, along with the adorable vintage cabin. The weather wasn’t great but we made the most of it and the kids didn’t care! We will be back for a warmer stay with more swimming.
