Outstanding Harwich Port location! This charming property comes with a newly remodeled guest house, which is really a 2nd fully functional house. A perfect gathering place for multiple families! The main house and the guest house each have 4 bedrooms, full kitchens, 2 full bathrooms, a washer/dryer, an outdoor shower and outdoor eating and seating areas.brbrThe property is situated in a residential area just a short walk to the beach on Nantucket Sound with a similarly short walk to the shops and restaurants of Harwich Port center. The inviting front porch of the main house greets you before entering into the first floor which has a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. The downstairs shower is in the laundry room and the toilet and sink are in an adjacent room which makes it nice when you have multiple people trying to get ready for a day at the beach or a day exploring all there is to see and do on the Cape. There is a second refrigerator on the back side porch. That porch also has a twin bed for an additional overnight guest. This completes the first floor. brbrUpstairs there are four nicely sized bedrooms and a full bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have king beds and two of the bedrooms have queen beds. The upstairs full bathroom is unique in that it has a beautiful clawfoot tub that has been converted to a shower. brbrThe main house has beautiful southern pine floors, gas heat, central air conditioning and a nice outside dining area, lounge area, outdoor shower and lawn. brbrThe newly remodeled guest house sits off the back corner of the main house. It is easily accessed from the back steps of the main house and also has it's own entrance from another street. The guest house has a family room, dining room, kitchen, stackable washer/dryer, and full bathroom on the first floor. Upstairs there is the second full bathroom, and four bedrooms. One room has a king bed, another bedroom has a queen bed, a third bedroom has two twin beds and the fourth bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. The guest house has beautiful wood floors, air conditioning, and gas heat The guest house has its own patio with dining area and it's own outdoor shower. brbrThe beach for both homes is the public beach on Atlantic Avenue, which is a 1/10th of a mile walk. There are a few other public beaches that are a short walk away. There is a private association beach on Quason Lane, however we do not currently have access to that beach. I thought I'd mention this fact so that there is no confusion for those that are familiar with the area. brbrAnother added feature for this unique property is the ample parking. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and the other with a queen bed. The third bedroom has a pull-out sofa that sleeps one. The deck and patio are wonderful for cookouts and entertaining. There is a Weber Gas Grill and outdoor seating for 8. With everything you could want within very close proximity and all your desired amenities onsite, The Port House is the perfect hub for a relaxing and refreshing summer vacation, weekend getaway (for golf etc.), wedding trip, or long-term stay. In total, there are three large bedrooms (three queen beds / one single day bed; can sleep up to 7 people comfortably) and two full bath's including walk-in shower and full bathtub. Our home features a luxurious four season sunroom, outside brick deck, and very large front and backyards. Furthermore, the home is fully heated with an AC unit in each bedroom, and high definition cable and high speed internet available year round. brbrThe Port House is a two-story, 3-bedroom 2-bathroom house that was recently updated. It is well built, spacious, and very clean traditional Cape that has hardwood floors and hand-finished ceilings throughout the premise. The first floor features a spacious living room w/ a flat screen Smart TV that is perfect for the family to watch a game /movie or catch up on the days events. The living room is well lit and open. With room for the whole family and a fireplace, the dining room is the perfect place to enjoy a meal with the family during any month of the year. Adjacent to the living room, is a bright and energizing sunroom, which is the perfect location to read a good book, catch the afternoon sunset, or watch a ball game on the new 40'' SONY flatscreen TV. The room has comfortable seating, including chairs, table, and a comfortable microfiber couch (great for an afternoon nap!). Also, a full kitchen is located off the dining room and comes equipped with an oven, stovetop, heating oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher. The kitchen overlooks the backyard and features an eating area for dining and cabinet space for storage. This versatile kitchen is great for cooking small meals or a large feast! Finally, a master bedroom resides on the first floor. The suite features a Queen Bed as well as a flat screen TV. A full bathroom (with marble him & her shower) is accessible from both the bedroom and the kitchen. Finally, a washing machine (brand new) and dryer are located on the first floor.brbrThe second floor houses two additional bedrooms (queen beds) and a large bathroom (including bathtub). Both bedrooms have a large walk-in closet and room for a rollaway bed, which are located in each respective closet. For convenience (and quiet), families can enclose the upstairs area. brbrA outdoor brick deck is directly accessible from the sunroom. During the summer months, the deck has outdoor furniture and grill, making it the perfect place for a summer cookout. Furthermore, our home has a very large backyard (with a brand new 6 ft fence) and a large front yard, which is a great place for the kids to play or to host a gathering with friends and family. Finally, the outdoor deck features an outside shower with a changing area, stereo, and lighting to rinse off or take a relaxing shower after the beach. Our newly furnished sunroom is amazing on summer days and nights, as you can relax with a meal, drink, or a good book and enjoy the sweet ocean breeze.
