Welcome to Inspiration & Selah, our home and cottage, on beautiful Kentucky Lake. Our home is an open area home upstairs with full views on 3 sides of house of Kentucky Lake/Tennessee River. You can watch all the activities on the lake right from our dining room table, kitchen or living area. There is also a 1/2 bath upstairs. You can open up our doors off the living area to a walkway that goes around to the left of the house to a walkway going down to our screened in porch, deck with pergola and then the deep water dock.brbrDownstairs is 3 bedrooms. One bedroom (it has two large closets) has a king size bed with room on the floor to add air mattress and two bedrooms each hvae queen size beds with closets. The bathroom downstairs is 10 x 20 and has a shower, separate oversize tub and two lavatories. We also have a washer and dryer downstairs.brbrEach downstairs bedroom has doors that lead you out to the 30 x 15 screened in porch. Our porch has views of the lake on all open sides with plenty of seating for a large group of people. We have a tv, apartment size refrigerator & freezer located in the screened in porch. Check our pictures out to get a better idea of the relaxing time you can spend with your family and friends in our screened in porch. On those hot days you can turn on the ceiling fans and floor fans, get a cold glass of tea and enjoy your visit in our home.brbrThere is a screened in door on the left side that will allow you to go down to the deck/pergola and ultimately to the dock. Dock can be used (use at own risk)to swim, sit and bring your boat. Boating activities such as skiing, tubing, water boards or just swimming is only a few feet away. Fish from the dock if you prefer.brbrUpstairs there are three carports and a parking area beside the Cottage. brbrSelah, our cottage, has 2 bedrooms, and an open area with kitchen and living area. A full size bath. Selah has a queen size bed in one bedroom and 2 twins in the other with open to kitchen and living room. The living room has a sofa sleeper and a rollaway bed. Selah is only 8 feet away from Inspiration.brbrSmall dogs are allowed that are well trained, well behaved and mannered. Please ask about any other size dogs. Remember the owner and guest are 100% responsible for any damage created by the dog.brbrCome enjoy our home on the beautiful and scenic Kentucky Lake. You will be glad you did. It's time to get away.

This quaint cottage privately sits on a 1-acre lot and has stunning views of the water from the boat dock, porches, fire pit area, great room and bedrooms. This spacious 1600 sqft home has hardwood flooring throughout and has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, combined kitchen/living area and a utility room. The two-tiered dock has a gang way to the floating boat slip and sunbathing area. Brush fish attractors have been added along the shorelines adjacent to the dock.brbrThe cottage is approximately 2.5 hours west of Nashville, 3 hours east of Memphis, and 20 miles south of Murray, KY. Blue Heron Bay is within minutes of Cypress Springs Resort Marina, which offers a boat ramp, overnight slip rentals by the day, boat/jet ski rentals, and a wonderful restaurant. Just 10 minutes away is Paris Landing State Park which has an 18-hole golf course, beach area, swimming pool and tennis courts. KY Lake is a short boat ride from Cypress Bay. The lake offers excellent fishing, swimming, and boating.brbrBlue Heron Bay is wonderfully decorated with three queen and one king beds. All bedrooms feature luxury mattresses and linens. TVs are provided in each bedroom. The kitchen has new stainless-steel appliances and features a gas stove. Bring your own spices and food…everything else is provided. The bar area seats six and there is extra table seating in the living area. The living area has vaulted ceilings with a grand rock fireplace with gas logs. Over the fireplace is a large smart TV. Plenty of seating with one sectional and one full couch.brbrOutside of the lower porch is a large fire pit with six Adirondack chairs for comfort and relaxation. Firewood is provided for our guests. The screened-in porch facing the water has two ceiling fans to keep air moving on warm sunny days. The bottom lower covered patio has a picnic area, and there are two large decks with abundant wrap-around seating. While sitting on one of the two covered porches, you can grill, dine, enjoy music, stargaze and simply relax!brbrWe offer our guests free access to Wi-Fi, two kayaks and one paddle board. Please note that life jackets are not provided. There is also plenty of parking. You can bring your own boat! Come and relax at the Blue Heron Bay cottage and make lasting memories with your family and friends.brbrPlease note the water levels fluctuate 5 feet annually. Normal summer elevation is 359 feet and is from around May 1 to August 31st. At this elevation, the water will be approximately 5 feet deep under the floating dock. At minimum winter elevation of 354 ft., the floating dock is sitting on land.For up to date water elevations, please refer to Tennessee Valley Authority's webpage (TVA).
