Within 5 minutes from Nashville, Gimme a Break is a vacation cabin that you cannot miss. Although close to Nashville, you are on a gorgeous piece of property in Brown County, Indiana. The cabin has a gorgeous view of Greenbriar Lake. While that is a private lake and it OFF LIMITS, the view out the front the of cabin is so peaceful. There is a circular drive so room for your family and you to make plenty of memories.brbrThere is a covered patio on the front of the vacation cabin and just a couple of steps in to the cabin. There are no other steps in this home. brbrAs you enter into the cabin, there is a seasonal gas fireplace right in front of you in the cozy living room. Turn to the right and walk down the hallway to find a full bath with tub/shower combination. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and the other bedroom has a bunk bed (single on top and queen on bottom). To the left of the living room you will find the beautiful master suite with full bath (shower only).brbrThere is a separate dining room and full kitchen with all the appliances and pots/pans and baking dishes to make a family feast. You can stream movies and sports events on the big TV on your own Netflix, Hulu or other entertainment servicebrbrOn the back of the cabin is a nice big yard for your family to enjoy some Brown County fun if you bring any yard games with you. The deck off the main living space is like sitting in a tree house, there is a gas grill and table and chairs. The master bedroom has king bed and an en suite bathroom. The other main floor bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bath with shower. Upstairs is a bedroom with queen bed, jack and jill bath. 2nd bedroom has 2 twins beds. There is even an extra shower in basement if the other showers are busy. Washer and dryer are in basement. WoodHaven is close to Brown County State Park, less than a mile to eXplore Brown County with zip lines, Story Inn Restaurants, Nashville shopping and eateries. 30 minutes to Edinburgh outlet mall.brDRIVEWAY:brThe house is perched on a hill in the woods. The first thing you will notice as you begin to turn onto the driveway is that it is steep and curves up the hill. If your vehicle has 4WD we recommend you utilize it. If you do not have 4WDwe recommend you shift into low gear(L) if your car has that option. This will provide the smoothest ascent up the drive. Please keep your speed up ALL THE WAY through the curve to provide sufficient momentum to smoothly ascend the drive.. The climb will be worth it. Once you reach the Cottage at the top of the hill there is plenty of space for parking.brATTENTION BICYCLERS:brWe are designate Mountain Bike Friendly by the Brown County Tourism Bureau.brWe have a walk out basement that makes it easy to bring your bikes inside.
