The tritoon, a 24 foot Sylvan with a 115 hp Yamaha outboard engine, can easily board up to 10 people. It's a very nice boat for cruising the lake, heading to the sandbars, and for fishing. For those of you experienced and comfortable with safely driving and navigating a large pontoon, please let us know and we will provide the pontoon rental cost, lease agreement and further details. Note the tritoon can be rented for a single day, a few days, or all of your stay, but we ask that it be leased for consecutive days only. The house has 3 floors of living space. Great for entertaining and socializing. Sechrist is fed by spring water and has a sandy bottom. In our opinion it has the clearest water of the other lakes in the Barbee chain. In front of the house there is a private sandy beach. The water is shallow so ideal for children.brbrThe Barbee Lakes chain is composed of seven interconnected, natural lakes situated west of North Webster, Indiana. The lakes include Kuhn, Big Barbee, Little Barbee, Irish, Banning, Sawmill and Sechrist. They are interconnected by Grassy Creek which extends upstream from the chain to Ridinger Lake and downstream to Lake Tippecanoe. The lakes’ watershed stretches southeast into Whitley County, encompassing approximately 33,150 acres or 52 square miles. brbrSechrist Lake - Deepest of the Barbee chain, Sechrist Lake covers 105 acres with a sand bottom, maximum depth of 70 feet and average depth of 35 feet.
