Located 5 minutes from Donnelly, Idaho on Sandy Drive. Just 20 minutes to Tamarack Resort; 25 minutes to McCall; 25 minutes to Cascade. Free wi-fi and cable TV. Fireplace. Propane Blackstone grill. Coffee Pots, Keurig, Microwave, Range, Oven, Dishwasher, Refrigerator/Freezer, Washer and Dryer. Multiple TV sets. Ideal for family get togethers and gatherings with plenty of off-street parking. Enjoy all four seasons with swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, viewing nature and wildlife.brbrThe space;br4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. Two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms are in the main cabin and two bedrooms and one bathroom are in the guest house, known as the Shasta Suites. On July 19th 2022, it was at 4824.34 feet.brbrThe closest boat ramp to us is at the Donnelly City Park which has an end of ramp elevation of 4817 feet. At the end of August and in September we use the ramp at Rainbow Point, 4814 feet, or the ramp at Poison Creek, 4812 feet.brbrAll of this information and more than you will ever want to know can be found at the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation's website.brbrQ) Is it ok to beach or anchor our boat in front of the cabin brbrA) Absolutely. Not only is the beach kid friendly but it's also boat friendly, with a smooth, sandy, gentle slope. We have a permitted mooring buoy. Normally we beach our boat during the days and keep it attached to the mooring buoy during the nights.brbrWe learned that it is not a good idea to drive the boat up onto the beach. Instead, you should cut the engine and glide onto the beach. brbrQ) Are there any rules about using the beach or surrounding waterfront brbrA) On Lake Cascade the beaches are public. Of course, as a guest at the cabin, you have direct access to the beach. If you are not staying at the cabin, but at another lot in the interior, you cannot trespass on the lakefront lots to get to the beach. You can legally get to any beach by boat or by land using an access lot. There are a couple of such access lots nearby to the north and to the south of us. We pay a membership to help maintain the one to the south. It has picnic tables, a fire pit, etc. and a beach. brbrQ) What would be the closest boat launch brbrA) That would be the Donnelly City Park which is one mile or three minutes.brbrLate in the season when the water is low we sometimes use Rainbow Point. It is on the other side of the lake and is 5.6 miles or twelve minutes. Rainbow Point is only two miles by boat, however.brbrWe sometimes use, but only at extremely low water, Poison Creek which is 8.2 miles or 17 minutes. It is the campground closest to the Tamarack Resort on the other side of the lake and to the south of us.brbrQ) Is there enough room for parking a boat trailer, snowmobile trailer, motorcycle trailer, etc. brbrA) Yes. There should be ample parking. We put in a circle drive in the fall of 2019!br brQ) Are kids ok brbrA) Absolutely. The cabin was made for kids of all ages.brbrQ) Can we invite our friends up brbrA) You are welcome to have up to a total of 12 people on the property.brbrQ) What are the rules brbrA) Just the usual rules. We have a large Blackstone griddle available for use on the deck.brbrQ) Are there enough pots and pans for a large family or do we have to bring our own brbrA) The kitchen is fully equipped. This cabin comes with all of the extras, Wolf and Sub Zero appliances, steam oven, pebble ice maker, beverage chiller, designer master bath with heated tile and bidet, 7 person Bullfrog hot tub, huge deck, air conditioning, 3 kayaks and 2 paddleboards, and so much more!brThe spacebrThe property is on a private lot in a neighborhood with permanent residents, and we appreciate your courtesy towards them. Enjoy watching the 'bird parade' from the large deck with two separate grassy areas in the back yard with tiered landscaping down to the private pier and dock. The home is located on a calm, quiet arm of Lake Cascade with amazing views across the channel that is frequented by wildlife. The dock is on the deeper side of the channel and is accessible by boat later in the season than many other properties. That being said, Lake Cascade is a reservoir and the water level drops throughout the season. It is the guests' responsibility to judge usability for your personal watercraft. Typically, we've been able to use the dock through Labor Day, but it is no way guaranteed. As long as Boulder Creek boat launch is accessible we've able to use our dock, but again, it is up to the guest to ensure accessibility.brInside, the master suite is on the ground level with the remaining 4 bedrooms and en suite bathrooms on the second floor. The large kitchen has a dining table with seating for 10 plus an oversized bar with seating for 6 more. The 2-story great room has plenty of comfortable seating with more lounging space in the upstairs loft.brGuest accessbrThe entire cabin is yours to use except for a few locked cabinets and drawers with owners' belongings.
