This property is on 140 forested acres. There are 3 beautifully furnished cabins and a very large 5 bedroom/6 bath main building. Your group will enjoy the perfect balance of private space and communal areas. Huge commercial kitchen, screened porch, outdoor fireplace, and a movie room.brbrConnect with family as you explore shady forests, open fields or rocky hillsides.Wildlife is abundant- you will almost certainly see deer, elk, hawks, bluebirds or wild turkeys, maybe even a moose! Enjoy evenings on the large screened porch or inside watching a movie on the 135 movie screen. The lodge operates part of the year as a destination recording studio, so the suites, cabins, and common areas are designed for a group of people to enjoy together comfortably for a week or more. brbrCooking for large groups will be a pleasure in the commercial kitchen. There is ample refrigerator/freezer space, 4 ovens, and large griddle as well as a commercial dishwasher which cleans a load of dishes in under 3 minutes! The kitchen is well-stocked with large pots and pans and numerous serving dishes and warmers. Other amenities include an ice machine and espresso maker. brbrbrThe location is excellent! You'll turn off the highway and drive down a private, gated country road. Even though it is just a short distance from highway to property, you'll feel like you are a million miles from everything. The property is located between Sandpoint and Coeur d'Alene, two of the most popular tourist towns in North Idaho. We are less than 15 minutes from the Northwest's largest theme/water park, Silverwood. Also within minutes is the town of Bayview and Farragut State Park. This is a spectacular 4000 acre park at the south end of Lake Pend Oreille, the state's largest (43 miles long) lake. It's also the deepest (at 1,158 feet deep, there are only four deeper lakes in the nation). It's got terrific scenery, clean water, big fish, and a fascinating history. Picnic areas and swimming holes, boat rentals, fishing charters, Frisbee golf as well as a Naval Museum can all be found around Farragut and Bayview. 30 minutes south of the property is the beautiful resort town of Coeur d'Alene, and 30 minutes north is Sandpoint, home to Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort and the Sandpoint Music Festival. Two bathrooms with showers add convenience to your stay. The house stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or planning your next adventure, this quaint home offers a phenomenal base, especially if you're headed to Silverwood, Farragut State Park, Lake Pond Oreille, Sandpoint or Coeur D Alene. We’ll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place. brThere are train tracks close to this home so you will hear a whistle or two. The home is on 5 acres and the yard is unfenced so please do not leave your children unattended. If you decide to use the outdoor grill, turn propane and burners on and press ignite. Once you are finished with grill please turn burners and propane tank off and clean grill. By using the grill, you are taking responsibility for any damages ensued by the use. Please keep it away from the exterior of the house and remember to turn it off. No pet’s allowed.

Beautiful Lake Cabin on Kelso Lake, Idaho! Close to Silverwood!

This cabin is unique, on the shore of Kelso Lake - a small, secluded lake that is quiet and serene. The lake itself is 65 acres with lots of wildlife and amazing fishing for trout and bass. Only electric motors allowed, so it is always peaceful. The gated private side of the lake has 5 active cabins in total. The acreage included is 1.87 with 110 feet of frontage. It is conveniently located between Coeur d’ Alene and Sandpoint, and is 10-15 minutes to Silverwood Theme Park. Food/shopping/supplies are only 10 minutes away. This cabin has 1200 square feet of living space and comes with amenities to make your stay comfortable.. It has been fully remodeled. There are 3 separate sleeping areas that can sleep a maximum of 6 people. (note: 3rd bedroom is a small futon, a perfect size for kids!) There are beautiful hand textured walls with hardwood floors, alder woodwork and handcrafted basalt end tables, a spiral staircase, and a gambrel roofline for added space upstairs. There is also a full daylight basement (unfinished) used for storage, has a wood stove for heat - with electric heat in bedrooms on chilly nights. The outdoor areas include a big patio and fire pit area. Extensive rock work and steel railings contribute to safe access. (There are stairs up to the cabin and down to the lake!) There is a large Shoremaster dock that has space for all guests with 2 paddle boards and 2 kayaks. We have spent the last 10 years making this cabin unique- with the ability to come up and relax for days or weeks at a time. It is truly one of a kind.brbr(Because of the serene atmosphere at the lake, no parties are allowed)brbrPlease note:brOur cabin supports a disconnected lifestyle. There is no Wi-Fi – and only 8 channels on the main television. The other TVs take CDs (side) or we have a connection for Ipads if you have downloaded content. [USB-C] An iPhone cable is available under the dining table.brSome cell phone carriers work great at the cabin. AT&T seems to be the best. Some carriers may have spotty or low signal. Meadlowlane Cottage sits on ten beautiful fenced acres with gorgeous mountain views that offers peace and tranquility. The Beach Bedroom has a queen sized bed, dresser and over the door hanging rack providing ample storage for guests to use. There is additional night stands and aroma therapy kit for guest use as well. brThe Kids Bedroom has a queen size bed with numerous children's toys to play with. The spacious Master Bedroom has queen sized bed that sits in between windows which allows guests to view the flower bed, garden and barn. The large closet and dresser is included for guests to use during their stay. The en suite has a walk in modern style shower that overlooks the flower bed. The beach themed guest bathroom across from the master bedroom has a tub shower combo, towels, towel rack and hooks on the back of the door. Down the hall the large cough and mission style recliner and antique rocking chair provides plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy an evening fire by the wood stove. The full sized kitchen has the standard kitchen appliances but also includes a hot pot, crock pot, rice cooker to allow for home cooked meals to welcome guests home after a fun filled day in the sun. The 6 person hot tub is a nice way to end the adventurous day during the cool of the evening. Enjoy the fully fenced back yard complete with a fire pit and a very sturdy pic nic table. The best feature about this property is watching the sun sets from the covered timberframed porch on the front entry. brThe garage has a pool table, smart tv and LP record player to enjoy.
