The living room and dining room are adjacent to a large lanai, all of which look out over the spectacular beach and surf. Even though there is a dining room, we always enjoying eating on the back lanai while watching and listening to the ocean. And, of course, enjoying the company of the small birds who come to watch!brbrThis unit is on the second and third floors. The upstairs consists of a master bedroom and bathroom with more oceanfront views as well. Being up higher yields nice breezes and the sounds of the ocean while sleeping. It also adds just a touch more privacy rather than being on the same floor as the second bedroom. Part of the remodel was knocking out a wall and making a very large master shower. It's a really nice feature and is really nice after a day at the beach!brbrEnjoy whale watching and the sway of the palms while relaxing on your large private lanai, fully equipped with patio furniture and lounges. One bedroom (with 2 twin beds) and bath complete the main floor.brbrAll in all, you will certainly be comfortable at Kaha Lani.brbrOne thing to consider is that it is a condo, not just one room, so it takes a bit more time to clean well for the next guests. Check out time is 10:00 to allow that time. This is common on Kaua'i. If you are flying back to the mainland, or otherwise have an evening or late flight, many people like to book an extra day so they can relax and enjoy every minute right up until the flight home. Hawaii Ocean View Condo SPECIAL is $175/night FOR a 2-3 wk rental & $149/night for 30+ day rentals - click on the Calendar for available dates.brbrIt’s a 1 bedroom and 2 full bathrooms and it sleeps 3 possibly 4 (but the 3rd & 4th person will be using the blow up mattress in the closet & sleeping on the living room floor (perfect for kids).brbrI do have specials for fill in dates (check my calendar for dates available in between current reservations). Often times, I will discount the rate if you take ALL of the AVAILABLE fill in days. Fill in my available dates on my calendar & save some more money (from the already cheapest ocean view rates (2 miles from the Lihue airport, for a really nice condo) in the entire complex & a great location to all of Kauai's best sightseeing spots)! brbrMINIMUM stay is 2 nights!brbrIt's cheaper to book through me than my Property Management Company. My nightly rate is $249 (2-6 nights - MINIMUM stay is 2 nights), $188/night (7 day min), $175/day for 2 - 3 weeks & $159/day for a 30+ day rental. There is an out cleaning fee of $200 plus normal State of Hawaii Hotel taxes (approx. 17.962%) with a $35 reservation fee! brbrVRBO does not have a feature that allows me to charge different rates for different lengths of stay. So, if you are booking for less than 1 week, there will be an additional charge. I ALWAYS respond quick to let potential renters know of this.brbrVrbo charges approx. $200+ to the Owners for online bookings. If you have more than 2 people staying in the unit, they would have to sleep in the living room (either on the reclining sofa or on the floor on a blow up mattress which we do have in the closet). If you want a roll away bed, there is a extra charge for that (approximately $50/night). I don’t arrange for that service but I can give you a contact number previous guests have used.brbrBoth bathrooms have showers. It’s 500 yards from the sand. Balcony patio area with dining table. Kitchen equipped with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. A short 2 1/2 mile drive from the airport, you turn 'makai', ocean side, through a quarter mile arched arbor of Banyan trees and enter the oceanfront world of the OUTRIGGER Kaua'i Beach Resort, a richly remodeled, Plantation Style, 4 star resort.
