Experience breathtaking ocean and resort views from one of the best vantage points in the entire Kaanapali Shores Resort. This unit is unique in that it is one of only eight studio units that are placed in the inner courtyard (the other face neighboring properties and have very restricted ocean views). This high vantage point unit has superior views of the tropical gardens, waterfalls and the newly renovated garden pool, as well as panoramic views of the ocean and adjacent island (in winter/spring months you'll be able to see humpback whales from the unit). The daytime and sunset views from the lanai are stunning, and after dusk when the tiki lights are lit, the garden pool glows from below in a beautiful array of colors. brbrThis spacious, air conditioned studio unit has a fully equipped kitchen with newer appliances (all full size), a spacious bathroom with tub/shower, new furniture, and a supremely comfortable King size bed positioned to provide a view of the beautiful blue ocean. If you book a comparable studio directly through the resort (Junior Suite with Kitchen), you'll pay ~50% more, you'll sleep in a queen bed vs our king bed, you won't have a dining table, you'll have to pay for beach chairs/umbrella/cooler, and you won't be guaranteed an ocean view. brbrThe unit is thoughtfully decorated and equipped with a host of extra amenities (keyless front door, beach towels, room safe, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, soap, shampoo/conditioner, dishes, cookware, binoculars, blue-tooth music speaker, smart TV, DVD player, beach chairs, beach cooler, etc). There are dozens of restaurants, a full service grocery store, an ABC convenience store, several coffee shops, a farmer's market, two parks, and a gourmet food truck area - all within walking distance of the resort. If you rent a car, there is a $10.95 day parking fee, payable directly to the resort (shaded parking is available right next to the elevators). High speed internet, cable TV and local calls are included for free. Coin operated washers/dryers are available for guest use on every other floor of the building (laundry machines are not in the unit). We are very attentive hosts, answering questions and providing support before and during your entire stay, and are proud of our exceptionally high ratings from past guests. brbrThe unit just went through an extensive remodel, including fresh paint and premium carpeting, new lanai slider doors, and blackout drapes. The queen bed was replaced with a king size platform bed with a premium hybrid mattress (the same one they use in the neighboring high-end/very high price resorts); and distinctive artwork from several local artists were added. It's definitely one of the nicest studios in all of Kaanapali Shores, but don't take our word for it - check out the reviews of our wonderful guests, many who come back year after year. brbrThe Kaanapali Shores Resort occupies 10 acres on the famous Kaanapali Coast in West Maui. Visitors have golf, shopping, and dining just minutes away. The property faces a long stretch of beach suitable for sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, or boogie boarding (please note that sand conditions throughout the island can vary based on recent storms/wave conditions/tides/seasons). The fitness center, tennis, pickle ball and shuffleboard courts, jet spas, cabanas and sauna are available to guests (some require a nominal fee to use). Take a dip in one of the two fresh water pools. The Garden pool is set amidst a lush landscape, and offers many playful features like mini waterfalls, spouting streams and colorful LED lights. Meanwhile, the Oceanfront pool offers leisure and relaxation with open views of the Pacific. Grab a happy hour drink or dine at the poolside bar and restaurant while watching the waves crashing onto the shoreline just feet away, or take in one of the weekly Polynesian shows. The resort also has a salon, several art and gift shops, an outside reading library, and a coffee shop on the premises. Enjoy a jog or leisurely walk on the nearby coastal boardwalk that goes for miles to the south. World championship golf at Kaanapali and Kapalua are located only 5 miles away. Explore additional shopping and restaurants in Historic downtown Lahaina located only 5-10 miles to the south. It is turned on only during check-in and check-out days to verify safe arrival/departure of registered guests, and to assist guests with any unit access issues (e.g. digital code entry/physical key access). brbrPlease note that Kaanapali Shores Resort is undergoing an Elevated Railing Replacement and Concrete Spalling Repair Project (as are neighboring resorts). Although work on our building stack and unit is complete, there may be some intermittent construction noise during the day coming from other parts of the resort. We also upgraded our AC units. 2018 we installed all new kitchen appliances. 2017 we renovated the living room furniture - including an upgraded memory foam sofa-sleeper, lanai with seating for 6, and loft with both a queen and twin bed. In 2015 we purchased a new Sealy Posturepedic firm pillow top Cal-King mattress to go with the totally upgraded master bedroom furniture! A great night's sleep awaits you! brSince we have a young family, we have equipped this as a Family Friendly 'Home away from Home.' Any and all claims by Guest against Owner for costs, expenses, or damages of any nature shall be limited to the rental amount of Guest’s stay, and Guest shall not be entitled to any consequential damages of any sort.
